    Default On Undead and Ressurection

I was having a discussion with a few friends and I was wondering if it's possible to bring someone back to the dead if thier body has become an undead, mindless or otherwise.

It seems possible with something like True Ressurection, or Ressurection if you took the body part before they became undead. But is it?

    I was just wondering.

If they became mindless undead (skeleton for example) that would be possible, since their soul would be separated from the body (and went to afterlife), but if they became <whatever is opposed to mindless> then no since they still "live".

I thought the spells specifically stated whether or not it affecs bodies that were once undead. Raise deda i know for sure won't work, but the others, i don't know.

    From SRD:

You can resurrect someone killed by a death effect or someone who has been turned into an undead creature and then destroyed.
You are right. Only if the undead creature is destroyed you can bring them back to life.
