Well-Priced D&D books.
I learned that the pdf's I had were illegal, and I deleted them, and am very sorry. I would like to know how to get affordable D&D books.

Re: Well-Priced D&D books.
There are places online where you can buy the PDFs legitimately (I don't know where though, since I prefer the hard copy), and they should be affordable.
If you're looking for the hard copies, your FLGS (friendly local gaming store) should have copies, and if you're a regular customer may cut you a deal. (Also, you should be supporting your FLGS anyway!) If you don't have a gaming store nearby, you can usually buy the books for full price at any regular bookstore, though that can get expensive.
Alternatively, check out the numerous online bookstore, where you can usually get cheap copies of anything, especially if you can get used versions that are still in good condition. I managed to get the 3.x version of the Dragonlance Campaign Setting on Amazon for like $4 in "Like New" condition. The Playgrounder Formerly Known as rtg0922

Re: Well-Priced D&D books.
For most of the core stuff, this is extremely helpful. It's completely legit, as far as I know. It's even got epic and psionics rules. For other info, though, FLCL (Friendly Local Comics Liason((twenty points if you got that right away))) is the way to go. You can often get better deals at smaller places, because they're more interested in keeping a small, steady market than large chains are.

Damn. Sucks to be you...
I suppose your only option is to buy online or in big chain stores. Sorry I can't be of more help.My Homebrew

Re: Well-Priced D&D books.
Sorry, didn't know you were in Shanghai.
I believe someone has mentioned before that at this SRD (or maybe the mirror here) works from China.
That's the SRD, which contains all the Open Gaming License material (i.e., none of the "fluff," but almost enough of the actual rules to play the whole game without the books). The Playgrounder Formerly Known as rtg0922

If you're in China, I'm not sure, otherwise I'd recommend Amazon, it's where I purchase most of my hard copies.

I don't know if www.drivethrurpg.com is blocked in China, but here you can buy all the PDFs.
