Help me build a "Chelish Devil Binder"
Hey there! My group is going to be starting the new paizo "Rise of the Runelords" adventure path thingy. In the background packet under the discussion of Chelexians (one of the tribes of humans) there is a tantalizing mention of “Chelish Devil Binders,” with no further details.
I want to make a Chelish Devil Binder, and I want you to help. What classes/PRCs does that phrase invoke? Are there good PRCs for an occultist/demonologist type (that’s what the phrase “Chelish Devil Binder” causes to spring into MY head). Obviously, the character must be human.
Sources: Core plus all “completes” (except no psionics); Liber Mortis available, other books would require DM permission but shouldn’t be categorically excluded.
Thanks for your thoughts!

P.S. If anyone has read/is running the Rise of the Runelords and is aware of any further (non-spoiler) details about Chelish Devil Binders in the campaign I’d like to know!"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt." -Abraham Lincoln

Re: Help me build a "Chelish Devil Binder"
You could always make a standard Wizard/Nar Demonbinder. Then just replace Nar with Chelish. Nar Demonbinder is, unfortunately, Faerun-specific since it's from Unapproachable East.

Re: Help me build a "Chelish Devil Binder"
If you can use the Tome of Magic i'd suggest making either a binder or using the PrC Fiend Binder (from the true name secton)

Re: Help me build a "Chelish Devil Binder"
Depends on how and why these fellows do their binding, but it sounds like Malconvoker (wherever that's from) is worth considering.

Re: Help me build a "Chelish Devil Binder"
Depending exactly what type of demon binding you want to do, a few options are open. If you want to control demons, Thaumaturgist, Malconvoker, and even Conjuration Specialists and Clerics focused on Summoning are good ideas. If you mean summoning a creature and having it sit inside you granting you powers, then the Binder from Tome of Magic is what you want.

Re: Help me build a "Chelish Devil Binder"
Thanks, all, for the suggestions! Malconvoker seems to be the way to go.
On a vaguely related note, does anyone know of a cleric domain that gives +1 CL for necromancy spells (like the many other domains that give +1 CL for their various subjects)? Name of domain and book/source appreciated.
Thanks!
