Building a motorcycle

Ok, for my next gaming session I'm planning on making a motorcycle for my erudite. I've got, or can get, all necessary spells/powers, a decent amount of gold, and a nice amount of xp. All I need are specifics, and more ways to boost speed, just because I won't be happy with a 70ft base for a motorcycle.

I was thinking start out with a fabricated chassis, perma-animated. Then add haste, as either permanent or x/per day uses. Maybe use Grease for a quick but small boost to speed, and other enchantments like Featherfall in case I feel like driving off a cliff.


Thoughts, comments, suggestions, all welcome and appreciated.

I'd find a way to use the Phantom Steed spell to power it, since that's gonna make it super-fast. I mean, at the minimum caster level, you can move 120 feet per round for 6 hours. For other info, you can probably just look up the broom of flying or flying carpet (both Wondrous Items, found here).

wow, nice! I wonder if I could convince my DM to let me do that.
Now I see what I miss out on by only playing psionics and no other kind of caster. What an awesome spell!

You mention that you're playing an Erudite - do you know about the Spell-to-Power variant? You can find it about three-quarters of the way down this page, and it lets you actually learn spells as psionic powers (so you can get any spell that you find on a scroll or whatever). It's really good.

Yep, thats what I'm using. I found the variety and number of powers weren't good enough for me, and I don't have easy access to ComPsi, so I don't have access to any of those powers either. Spells have the functions I was looking for to make a motorcycle.
