Outdoors Wizard Build - need help
I am in a game on the The Savage Tide Adventure Path. Our party wizard quit and i was playing a druid.
Now I am going to play a Wizard.
Starting level 6.
Starting money
No non core Races (sun elves, drow elves, heartland halflings, changlings,)
most likely human for the extra feat.
We spend about an equal time at sea and on land. At least so far.
I like the spell "ray of Stupidity" which can effectively kill ANY "Animal type" with one spell, so I will take that.
I hardly ever play a wizard and do not know how to max it out.
Was thinking of specializing in Ray spells and have high Dex and high INT.
Not in the Eberon Campaign Setting
Any help will be greatly welcomed.
Cash to make character 13,000 gold ... this is for everything ... spells (other than automatic at level) magic items (handy haversac is HIGH on my list of must haves)
Thanks for the help

Re: Outdoors Wizard Build - need help
One spell which may be really useful is Rope Trick. You would need a level 3 slot to extend it initially, but once you get to level 9, it will allow you and your allies to stay safe at night. Endure Elements may also be useful depending on the weather conditions (if you decide to use these 2 spells, you will need Transmutation and Abjuration).
