In the savage species book it says: see table 2-7: ability equivalence in dungeon master guild.
THERE IS NO TABLE 2-7 IN THE 3.5 DMG!

If I remember correctly, Savage Species is 3.0, not 3.5. You'd have to look in the 3.0 DMG, or maybe someone here can tell you the equivalent page in the 3.5 version.

What he said, but the chart is on page 173 of the DMG, it's not one of the listed tables anyway. It does have the same information as the previous iteration.
