I have a suggestion for the "House of Horrors".

It harks back to the time when Azure City was intact, and an organized place. Given the strong oriental flavour it has...

What if it also used certain oriental punishments for criminals and the like?

The Chinese "Ling Chi" comes to mind then, especially when confronting crimes as serious as those that Belkar has committed.

My proposal: Belkar being executed by "Ling Chi" for his numerous crimes. Or, if you want to be really nasty, make that the whole order, for "crimes against existence" ("Ling Chi" was reserved for the most serious crimes, like treason against the Emperor, mass murder, or murdering one's parents, for instance).

What is "Ling Chi"? You can check the info in Wikipedia here.

And, if you have a strong stomach and want documentation, you can check these sets of authentic photographs from 1904 and 1905 documenting real-life executions carried out by "Ling Chi".
