Assuming you mean a batman-wizard and not the superhero, the term originated with The Logic Ninja's Guide to Wizards: Being Batman.

The Eberron Campaign Setting's artificer class could qualify for being Batman as well (though of course the classic example is still the Wizard). The artificer has access to every single spell list in core and gets all the Craft feats as bonus feats. Thus he can scribe scrolls from both the cleric and wizard list, and then some. Plus he has his infusions.
The Archivist (Heroes of Horror) is a divine spellcaster who casts like a Wizard. He can add any divine spell to his prayer book, so he can also theoretically do a Batman.Last edited by AslanCross; 2008-03-06 at 09:14 PM.
