More legs
I'm trying to figure out how much a medium monstrous spider can carry. My problem is that the players handbook only covers quadrupeds. Any help will be apreciated.
The fastest animal alive today is a small dinosaur, Falco Peregrino.
It prays mainly on other dinosaurs, which it strikes and kills in midair with its claws.

Theoretically, you could just use the list for quadrupeds. If you're nitpicky, though, I guess multiply the quadruped thingy by 1.25 for one pair of extra legs, 1.5 for two pairs, etc. should work.

There are spider mounts in at least one Underdark book. You might be able to work backwards from that.

The text in the PHB specifically states that you use the quadruped listing for creatures with "4 or more legs".
