Default Can CQF and Robilar's Gambit used against BIG enemies?

Well, both Closed Quarter Fighting and Robilar's Gambit are AoO feats, right? I just wondered whether they can be used BIG enemies that have large reach, like dragons and stuff or not. Any idea?

You have to be able to hit someone with your weapon to take an AoO on them. This means that if they attack you from out of your reach, you're screwed.

Archers also have a fun time against you. You can "turn off" Karmic Strike and Robilar's Gambit in those situations, though. (Not sure about Close-Quarters Fighting.)

Edit: Now I want to make a ranger with Robilar's Gambit and the spell that lets you make an AoO with your bow...

Oh God, then I cannot fight with out-reach Snatches & Imp. Grapple biggies....

sigh, Freedom of Movement Ring is the first thing I want to buy, really.

Well, White Raven has a lot of maneuvers that let you charge without provoking an attack of opportunity. This would let you get past an enemy's reach (or through a group of enemies).

Improved Grapple fighters aren't as big a problem as you might think.

A Freedom of Movement ring is a must-buy for just about everyone, though.
