Astral Construct question

The energy touch ability (menu B) says that if you are a kineticist it gains an extra 1d6, otherwise its 1d4. But kineticists can't manifest astral construct. Is there any way to gain powers not in your chosen path/gain another path?

Expanded knowledge lets you learn any psionic power of a level you could normally cast, off any list, even prohibited schools.

I think there's a feat that allows you to learn any one power, even if it isn't on your list.

i belive that power has been errataed, try and look it up on wizards.
