    Default Quick Ninja Question

Yes, I realize all ninja questions are inherently quick...

That aside, my DM and I are both struggling with what exactly ghost step does. The description reads as such in CA:
"Starting at 2nd level, a ninja can spend one daily use of her ki power to become invisible for one round. Using this ability is a swift action..." etc, etc.

Our question is about the duration of the invisibility. The text does not describe this invisibility as "as the spell," hence making me believe that it is instead some special ability. In this case, does it really last one round or only for one attack (as per the spell)?

    Thanks,
    Teh Duke

It lasts one full attack. You are correct, it is not "as the spell". And Ninjas would be very weak if it was only one attack.

Its not one full attack, its one round. Its far better than one full attack.

It lasts for one round, which means that the Ninja is Invisible from the moment they activate the Ghost Step ability until the start of their next turn.
