Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
Whoo! Puppets and pie!
Although I strongly suspect the orcs would beat Elan at a pie-eating contest, hands down...Last edited by AlterForm; 2008-05-31 at 12:47 PM.

Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
Talk about altering the pantheon...
Of course, since Giggles will have more followers than Banjo, he'll be the more prominent puppet god, won't he?Eventually I'll return. Eventually.

Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
Sweet Zombie Jesus, that strip had me laughing so hard. I don't know which is funnier, Elan and Vurkle dueling with puppet gods or Durkon's reaction to it. Although one wonders where Elan got the second puppet from...

Huh, I b'lieve this is Durkon's first spotlight time since the siege.
Don't blame me. I voted for Kodos.

Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
Great comic yet again Giant. I just have a couple questions. Where is the world did Elan get another puppet? And is there going to be full puppet Pantheon by the time this is all over?

Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
I know I haven't posted much lately but I've been loving every bit of this storyline.
And oh God, the face on that puppet...we need a Giggles emoticon, stat.Google query for the Giant's posts, for those of us who think they're way more interesting than yet another speculation thread but don't have time to read every thread on the forum to find one he's posting in.

Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
The last four panels reminded me of when I was like six.
I mean, who didn't have to re-assert the rules of play with their action figures amongst friends? :)
Also you can tell that Durkon has reached his tolerance breaking point, look how he's being restrained! :)

SpoilerI have an odd feeling their going to lead an Orc rebellion against Kubota.Since the main RPG is so big, I decided to start with just a topic on here as a kind of demo. The Link is below. Click it if your looking for a homebrew catacomb quest of epic proportions!

Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
Great work as always, Giant. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Interestingly, because Banjo's brother Giggles is getting worshipped now, that might have a spillover effect on Banjo, as Giggles is going to be worshipped as the equal of Banjo. If Giggles becomes more powerful, that might elevate Banjo by association.

There's not much more to this update than the humor, but I'll be damned if I complain about that.

Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
Now I can only wonder how many puppets Elan happens to have...
Also, Giant, before you put this one in print, you may want to take a look at the second to last pannel. The word is spelled rvials, but I think it's supposed to be rivals. :)DOOM!!!!

Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
Hello everyone, great comic today, I just want to point out a spelling error I noticed.
In the tenth space Elan says 'Oooo! They're so neat! Ok, so they're brothers, but they're rvials.' As you know it should be rivals.
Anyway, thank you very much Giant for this wonderful comic.

Re: OOTS #561 - The Discussion Thread
Rich, what have you done, you're going to start a war between the church of Banjo and Giggles. It'll be like Heironeus/Hextor all over again.
Class material as always, OOTS always provides grade-A comedy.
