What's With All The 4th Ed.

The title says it all. I just don't understand how people are getting all this info. on 4th edition. The books aren't even out yet.If anyone could tell me how they are getting all this information I would be greatly obliged.

There are four methods as follows:
1.) You got your books in advance somehow.
2.) You know someone who got their books in advance somehow.
3.) You participated in illegal activities and can only look at the book on the computer, if you know what I mean.
4.) You know a person who took part in said illegal activities.

5) You read the excerpts, read what other people (who have books) homebrewed, and extrapolated how things worked and how to approach a semblance of balance in fourth edition. (tl;dr- Read stuff and figured it out)

I know dnd day's tomorrow, but the books were in my local store two days ago.

They might have been, but the official release date isn't until tomorrow. Some of us live in areas where stores didn't put them out early, and ordered books from places that didn't ship them early.

And I can't help but think that torrent sites are bad for your computer, so I refuse to obtain stuff that way.

Hey, I'm getting mine monday and I'm getting them all for 75 with shipping off amazon. I don't care, I'm saving me 30 bucks, the extra few days be damned.

I managed to get the Core book giftset and expedited shipping (so they should be here sometime between tomorrow and Sunday) for like $54. I love having coupons AND being a B&N member! Of course, $75 is still pretty good, and it's not like waiting until Monday is that bad - most of the stuff's been posted on the forums here and elsewhere by now anyway!
