that one shadowcaster link...

ok, two or three days ago i saw a link to another forum's shadowcaster thread that had all sorts of homebrew mysteries and houserules in it. i only had time to glance at it long enough to figure out what it was, and then had to log off. now, for the life of me, i can't remember where it was.

anyone think they know which link i'm talking about? i would appreciate any and all links that would help make a shadowcaster a viable option in my game.

Not sure about that specifically, but have you cleared your browsing history since you went to that page? If not, just open your History (ctrl+H on Firefox, not sure on IE or anything) and look for it; as a bonus, I know FF lets you search through the titles of pages in your history, so you could just type in "shadow" and see what comes up.

Google brings up quite a few possibilities, though. Realms of Chaos did a lot on this forum a while back, as seen here, and Myth-Weavers has this.

Also, it might be worth noting that the creator of the class posted his "fix" for the Shadowcaster over on the ENWorld forums, and you can read it here.

thanks. i will check out those links. yes, i clear my browser and my history just about every chance i get. i have system mechanic and norton working overtime cuz my old comp is about to fall apart; i pretty much have them doing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on it 24/7.
