Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire (MK III)
I like Stunt. He acts sorta like "I won't take no crap from you people" until someone pretends they care about him. Then He hates them again!
He's immune to the deegandrug! He's just unaware!

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire (MK III)
That's forgetting how Dave Cheung's character finds it awesome to have had a pretext to rape his baby sister.
You should read this review and especially the first five comments.
For all the moral failings and unfortunate implications in Mookie's stuff, at least he's not making porn comics involving the rape, torture and murder of children.
Chugworth and its author may rot in hell.Hark! An avatar drawn by Kate Beaton!

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire (MK III)
First of all, Luna is CPed from the seventh panel to the eighth. How lazy is that crap?
Second, god dammit, the fact that Stunt says he had traveled around before going to the Wild Edge Territories just makes the fact that he managed to get hired as a tour guide in under the span of a year even more ridiculous. These people don't have to go through any sort of training? Don't have to take tests? Hell, they don't even have to have a BACKGROUND CHECK that would show Stunt's been imprisoned at least once?
Third, why should Stunt give a crap if Luna wants to see Hobgoblins? Ignoring the creepy Stepford Smile she keeps giving, he's the TOUR GUIDE. He tells them where they are going. It's not his job to bow to what they want - He's supposed to have a set route he takes them along that is sure to show them the most interesting aspects of the territories while keeping them out of harm's way. That's his job, no real person would break the rules of the first actual, money-paying occupation they've ever had for two douchebags who have trapped them and manipulated them and used magic spells wantonly on them continuous times.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire (MK III)
Well, Stunt will probably go along with it so that he isn't taken away to Aberthast. I would comply with their every command if that's what it took.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire (MK III)
Stunt is in a most curious state currently.
He has left the Third Caste and their evil ways behind, but has not quite reached the Second Caste and fully embraced Dominic's greatness yet. Presumably this has to do with him being one of the very few Third Caste members who have not been to the Aberthast Cathedral.
I see a strong parallel to 1984 here - Stunt is in a comparable situation as Winston Smith after having been broken by torture and converted to the doublethinking ways of the Party, but still filled with hatred towards the Big Brother. By this analogy, it becomes clear what importance Aberthast has to the First Caste - while they can instill some degree of regret and First Caste morality into their subjects by their own power, the total coversion, the ultimate surrender, the love forBig BrotherDominus must be awoken by other means. Which go by many names. The worst thing in the world. Room 101. Aberthast.LGBTitP Supporter

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire (MK III)
Oh! I know! I know!
Luna wants more innocents to sacrifice in a fireball for her mighty Lord Dominus!
On a more serious note, I wonder who the hobgoblins are going to be. Mookie has pidgeonholed all of the other species into one or two stereotypes, so I'm wondering what the next one or two will be.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire (MK III)
Of course! Why else would he have chosen to live in an area famous for rendering mages helpless: One of the few areas of the world where the almighty Dominus cannot touch him? That also explains his odd Caste position, as Winterwind pointed out: The Wild Edge territories are outside of the domain of Lord Dominus, making them the only safe haven for those who do not fit neatly into any category.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire (MK III)
Am I a bad person if I found that Chugsworth comic making fun of CAD funny?
And....If Stunt is appearently immune to Dom and Luna's magic (since it appearently works all wonky in the Wild Edge,) why does it seem like Stunt'll take them to see the Hobbos anyways? Couldn't he just tell them to go themselves if they don't intend to listen to him?
Unless he plans to simply run away once an angry mob of Hobgoblins and maybe Gnolls (please no furry boobies please!) give chase. I'm pretty sure Stunt could outrun a crippled seer and a squishy mage.http://www.heroesofivalice.net/forum...154-Game-Rules

Like Discworld (but in a much less awesome way) the Theory Of Narrative Causality is an actual physical law, and under certain stimuli it can be harnessed to propel airships and long-lost secondary characters toward exotic locales.

You don't kill the purple necromancer. The purple necromancer kills you, and uses your corpse as a draught excluder.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire (MK III)
Now, here it can be sensibly explained that the airship have landed on the outskirts of the WET where the wild magic isn't so dangerous yet. Of course, it's not like Mookie would ever care to explain that.
Hmmm... do you think Mookie would be willing to hire someone who'd explain the gaping plot holes for him?
Also, it looks like Mookie-D and First Puppet have got a guide for themselves. Now that's a surprise. My FFRP characters. Avatar by Ashen Lilies. Sigatars by Ashen Lilies, Gullara and Purple Eagle.
