    Default [3.5] Changeling rogue/fighter - Warshaper?

I am planning on making a changeling rogue/fighter multiclassing for three levels into warshaper, then probably finishing out with more rogue levels.

I wanted a slightly more combat-oriented character, but one who focuses on generally benign or at least non-evil social skills. He would be more concerned with social justice, but in need of combat skills to face those who oppose these notions.

I plan on picking up the investigator and possibly the urban tracking feat, and I was considering the classic spring attack tree, but I wanted to look at my other options.

Does anyone know of combat feats that could make use of a high-ish cha score without being evil and/or explicitly magical? I seem to remember something like 4E's flourishing strike in 3.5, but I could just be dreaming.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Ah yes. What you are remembering has something to do with a fictional third-party sourcebook and adding your CHA to you attacks...

The REAL best way to take advantage of social skills in combat? Improved Feint, baby.

Snowflake Wardance from Frostburn lets you add Cha to attack rolls with one-handed slashing weapons, but it requires bardsong and perform: dance, along with some small restrictions, but other then the req's its non-magic.
: HEY! Paladin dude! Do you know what the best part about killing the entire Sapphire Guard was? Neither do I. I wasn't actually paying attention when I did it.

I suggest getting your sneak attack up as high as possible in order to make those rogue level worth it. There is a variant fighter which progresses sneak attack instead of bonus feats: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/cl...es.htm#fighter
Alternatively, you could take swashbuckler levels instead of fighter and take the Daring Outlaw feat.
Take a look at the Varian fighter: Thug as well, it gives more rogue-ish skills and adds Urban Tracking to the list of fighter bonus feats. You have to give up on heavy and medium armor, though. http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/cl...terVariantThug

CHA is a little ill-suited in combat situations, not many combat feats I know of take advantage of it. I've heard good things about the Complete Scroundel skill tricks, so maybe you should look at those and see if there is something available there? I dont own CScroundel myself unfortunately, so I can't help you with those.
