Spell Research
One of my players wants to create a custom spell for his sorcerer. We've discussed the spell, and it's of a reasonable power level, fits with his character, etc. My question is, are there explicit guidelines for spell research in 3rd edition? The closest I could find was the stuff in Chapter 2. I might be thinking of 2nd edition here, but aren't there specific costs and quantities of time associated with new spell research?
Love the Third Amendment?
