The dreaded Neonbeard glares at the the one who dares question his judgment.
"Well wit' Llama narratin', someone has t' point at random scallywags nah playin' th' game. 'n also fill his role as an absurd character that fits badly in th' settin'. Now if ye don't mind I be goin' t' get back into character."
Cap'n Neonbeard adjusts his terrifying hat and proceeds to wave around his laser cutlass and spitting curses at random people.

Re: Pirates IV - Firefly Firefight!
A gray haired old man walks into the room, muttering grumpily to himself.
Cain't even get a good night's peace 'round here anymore...
He sits heavily at the bar and looks directly at the bartender (smellie hippie).
How's about ya fix an old man a drink? Or just leave a glass and that bottle o' whiskey, I ain't picky.

Re: Pirates IV - Firefly Firefight!
A youngish, dapper looking man strides along the corridors in the bowels of Serenity seemingly with great purpose and little time to kill. He is clean shaven and well groomed, a silken waistcoat adorns his torso as part of his well-tailored ensemble, the complex stitching reminiscent of the East from Earth That Was. There is a slim briefcase in one hand, the other swings freely back and forth in time with his step. After a long while he abruptly comes to a halt and looks around, apparently Finished with walking for now.
What a fine mess this is. His accent is that of the centre planets. He glances around and spots a fellow passenger, Excuse me! ...Excuse me! You wouldn't happen to know how to get to the ship's mess from here would you? They barge past brusquely without giving an answer.
How rude!

Re: Pirates IV - Firefly Firefight!
Jandlin rubs his long fingers together and giggles quietly to himself over a cup of fake coffee. "But there's all this murk in it, all this murk! How can one such as *giggle* myself possibly touch it?" He leaps up suddenly from his chair and strides around the room impatiently, oblivious to the odd looks he receives from the others. Grel! Bio! Ti! Sa! Sa! Sa!" He grows angrier with each shout of the syllable "Sa," until he is finally almost red with rage.
"You noticed? My Chinese is perfect! Perfect!" He sits down suddenly and becomes instantly serious and business-like. "Let me get this straight, several passengers on this ship have been killed—some of them are potentially Alliance officials?—by unknown assailants and we are now killing ourselves one by one until we ultimately reveal the culprits? Sounds like my kind of ride.
"Now, whom to kill? I nominate Dragoon for death. Why? Because it's DAY 1!!"
He bursts into another fit of giggles and turns back to his fake coffee. "It looks so delicious..." He whispers to himself.

Re: Pirates IV - Firefly Firefight!
The people gather around Jontom Xire. There is something about the man that makes him suspicious. He has the mannerisms of a member of the Alliance. He has the smell of a member of the Alliance. He has the walk of a member of the Alliance. He has the taste of a member of the Alliance. (In all the confusion and pointing, it is unsure who exactly licked Jontom, but someone did and he assured the rest that Jontom tastes like Alliance.) As the mob strung up the victim and left him dangling, gasping out his end, they searched his belongings. It became obvious why Jontom acted that way. He was a skilled smuggler and often imitated the members of the hated Alliance to pilfer his loot and evade capture.
Jontom Xire was hung by a blood thirsty mob of people who probably now regret hanging him. He was a member of the smugglers (masons).
The crowd slinks away in shame. They'd slink away with their tails between their legs, but the Cat Boy potion mini-event won't come into play until Pirates IX, Blood's Bloody Seas, the Search for the Container of Catnip Stuck on Top of the Refrigerator at the End of the World.
Night 2 begins. Please send all night actions to Alarra, Indurain, and Atreyu. Night 2 should end in 24 hours, but may wait for 48 hours because I think Alarra and Indurain are heading to GenCon and Atreyu has been letting them handle all the night actions and stuff up to this point.Last edited by Atreyu the Masked LLama; 2008-08-12 at 10:52 PM.

Re: Pirates IV - Firefly Firefight!
Forgotton already that you were the Seer/Fool in another game just recently?
Yeah, well since my neck was the other one on the line, and I had no way of knowing JX's role - that said, I did PM some people trying to get the bandwagon shifted - while at the same time getting my own bandwagon reduced, since shifting away from JX without also moving away from me would have been suicide for me, but either they didn't get their PMs soon enough or they chose not to act on them.
And frankly, practically confirmed means nothing. Several of the "very good at these games" players have used "practically confirmed" status to hide the fact they were on team evil to great effect. It's one of the more effective gambits when you can pull it off.Last edited by Helgraf; 2008-08-13 at 11:32 AM.

Come on, best cut him down. He isn't going to get any deader...
The old man waits for the crowd to bring the body back down from the bulkheads.
Anyone going to do last rites or am I going to have to?

Eric saw the object of his vengence, but night fell before he could have his revenge. Now is the time to wait out the alliance, then strike during the day. He will not escape.

Well, looks like it was only a costume. Dangit anyhow. I forget about how everyone seems to want to go along with the girls. And here I thought I was done with high school games.
Gooffy looks disapprovingly at the situation, and helps bring the body down.
I ain't no priest old man, but I shall do my best to send the demons responsible back to the underworld.

Re: Pirates IV - Firefly Firefight!
Jandlin walks away from the body shaking his head sadly, dark despair filling his eyes. "We killed the wrong man... we killed the wrong man, we killed him, we killed him, we killed the wrong man! Shot 'im and grabbed 'im, and strung 'im uuup! We killed the wrong man... we killed the wrong man, we killed the wrong man!!"
He finally leans against the wall, looking much more cheerful, and starts to drum his fingers against it absently. He leaps up as if jabbed with a pin and rushes over to the nearest passenger. "Look here, look here, look here! I think I found an illegal smuggling bay! Could it be? could I be wrong? Come look! Come seeee."

Re: Pirates IV - Firefly Firefight!
Early in the morning, a discussion of evil intent takes place outside someone's room.
We shouldn't kill him. He's about to fall.
Maybe killing him will push him over the edge and he'll fall.
Or he'll turn into a vengence machine for goodness and light and he'll never fall.
Either way, he'll no longer be a threat in this game and that's what's important.
I suppose. Lets do it.
The Alliance members enter the bedroom of poor Mordokai and disintegrates his brain with their wacky evil ways. BLORP goes Mordokai's gray matter.
Mordokai was killed. He was a smuggler. The narrator apologies for any lackluster in this post, but he's rather busy.
Day 2 begins. It will end sometime Friday night after 11 PM EST if all goes according to plan.inner circle Legionary of Resiliance

Re: Pirates IV - Firefly Firefight!
*stares at swinging body and at the other corpse with the blorped head *
Knew I shoulda picked one of those fancy-type ships with a bit more pizazz. Or maybe one with a lock on the cabin door or two. Or hell even one with a cabin doors at all would be nice, really, but we haven't even got them. Hmmm... maybe I can still hail a cab.
Taxi! Get me to the nearest brothel in this ass-end of the verse!
Hello? Hello? Hellaww forget it. Radio is dead. Much like the aft end of the ship at this point... so what the heck did we decide? About the bodies exactly? Cause one of them is beginning to smell. Bad.
*looks around for any suspicious types. Points at Dr. Bath cause he seems all fancified. Never trusted those fancy folk and their "manners". Plus, maybe Mr. Fancy there would have a bottle of cologne or something to dab on the corpses to make them... er... less corpsey. smellin'.*
