Mutants & Masterminds: 1st Vs 2nd edition
So.... I'm considering 2nd edition Mutants and Masterminds and was wondering what the main differences are? How does 2nd as opposed to 1st play? Is it worth upgrading?

Re: Mutants & Masterminds: 1st Vs 2nd edition
Definetely worth upgrading. Major differences include a reworking of the "Damage" save, renaming it 'Toughness" and changing the way it's enhanced slightly. Everything is still bought via PP, except feats cost 1 pt, skills are 1pp per 4 skill points. They revamped the power system in to someting much easier to use and play with. I'm sure there are more differences, but those are all the ones that come to mind.

Re: Mutants & Masterminds: 1st Vs 2nd edition
Never played 1st Edition, to be honest. After buying 2nd Edition, I only looked back for art or comparison. 2nd Edition is much closer to standard d20, but don't think that's a bad thing. It is also much easier, more flexible and in general more awesome than 1st Edition (it is everything 3.5e and 4e wish they were).
