Re: Arts and Crafts Showcase
Wow.
Amazing.
I so wish I could draw like that...*cries*
There's only one problem with it. Well, not so much a problem as a...thing. There's just something about the head that bothers me. I'm not sure what. However, it might just be because it's incomplete. I don't know.
I'm also not a fan of the letters, but that's very minor, and more of a subjective thing.

Re: Arts and Crafts Showcase
Praise? From Sneak? I think this is a first! :D
No sarcasm right?
Anyway, yeah there are a couple things I don't like about it but I've lost the mood to finish it. I probably won't finish it or fix it for at least a few weeks. I don't really specifically know what else to do with it.

I don't think I've shown this one yet. It's not done but, meh.
It's done in markers and pencil crayon.

Re: Arts and Crafts Showcase
I apologize in advance for posting this again. I posted it elsewhere in another topic before I realized it really belongs here. These are some sketches I did of characters from the last D&D game I was involved in. It was a villains-only game, where we were playing characters who would eventually becom the arch-enemies of the heroes we were playing in a separate game in the same campaign world.
The leader, a cleric/necromancer following the God of Tyranny: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../Malvornox.jpg
The muscle, a zealous soldier of the Church of Tyranny's standing army: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...rse/Serjon.jpg
The bodyguard, an elven sniper: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...se/Avelios.jpg
The advisor, a summoner/alienist tertiarially involved with the Church of Tyranny: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/Charidin.jpg

Arts and crafts?
Here's my submission. I think its kinda messy, but I like the baddassery a Hellknight brings.

Wonderful, I just start posting my artwork, and Casualgamer just comes along and outdoes me after not even a day. :P
Seriously, though, those are incredible. Do you despise drawing chains as much as I do?"Playing D&D is a lot like having a venereal disease. I've made a number of 3D images (using Blender), here are some of the better ones:

or, alternatively

Attack Flyer WIP (latest image):

I'm also working on a human head, but thats not in a complete enough state to be shown.
Edited as I posted an image rather than a link

Re: Arts and Crafts Showcase
I've been experimenting with a new coloring style for my webcomic, and decided to put up a few character drawings for comment.
Lionel Glenrose, White Mage
Antonio Denzel Wren, Swashbuckler Extraordinaire
Carnahan Rastel, Elven Ninja
Vania Altamont, Avian Archer
Hemlock, Elven Black Mage
Algernon McKinnon, Dwarven Engineer, and his robotic "familiar", MR-CO
Cykla, Dryad Summoner
I personally like how Carnahan, Hemlock, and Algernon turned out the most, and think that Vania turned out the worst.a secret to everybody.

Re: Arts and Crafts Showcase
I second what Ego Slayer said.
And what Oskar said, that Elflad guy is awesome like a zombie John Lennon.
Also, I did the same coloring job for some of the villains in my comic. Unfortunately, I couldn't do a lot, because most of my upcoming villains aren't going to be introduced as villains, but here they are.
Selena Windrider, Halfling Templar
Benedict Iscariot, Completely Trustworthy Avian Royal Advisor
Cornelius Bartholomew Edgeworth IV, Dwarven Barbarian
Ione, Elven Assassina secret to everybody.

My scanner was being ultra mean, and the thing came out looking.... crumply. Buuut... it's a good deal cleaner than my Hellknight. C&C is welcome.

Re: Arts and Crafts Showcase
Personally I think there may be something a little too big about the legs and hip region, but it is still pretty good.
