2. Is there a way to get paladin mount/ animal companion/ familar all on the same animal? (any build sugestions)
3. How bad ass is a paladin/ranger halfling on a riding dog? Any good builds?

Re: Super mounts...Paladin/ranger/?
I believe there's a Paladin/Ranger feat (Devoted Tracker, I think it's called) that lets you have your Animal Companion/Special Mount as one creature. The Arcane Heirophant (RoW) combines your Animal Companion and Familiar into one creature. It should work (though I'm not sure on the pre-requisites for Arcane Heirophant since a friend made off with my copy of RoW), but In don't think it'd be that optimized.
I couldn't find a Mounts Handbook, but I do know there's a super-mount build out there that utilizes the Ash-something-or-other Dragoon from Sandstorm. I'll look it up and come back.
EDIT: Aha! It's not the original build thread, but HERE's a page with two versions of the super-mount. As it turns out, one of them doesn't even involve the Ashworm Dragoon.Last edited by RTGoodman; 2008-08-22 at 03:33 PM.

Re: Super mounts...Paladin/ranger/?
You know, for some reason I read the title of this thread and envisioned a paladin mounted on a ranger.
I think I like that better.

Re: Super mounts...Paladin/ranger/?
Now you crammed Tatsumaki Senpu Kyaku into my head even though it has nothing to do with that. Thanks a bunch.
Anyways, Supermounts are based around Halfling Outrider (Complete Warrior) and Devoted Tracker to effectively gain two levels worth of mount advancement for each level of Halfling Outrider. Further bonus by using Prestige Paladin and Beastmaster to get the companion/mount on very low level (and on higher effective level than normally possible). Savage Bard added to the mix too and few feats from Dragon to stack different levels for everything along with feats to get a Dragon Mount and you'll have 50-60 HD Dragon mount kicking all kinds of ass.
