Default So many spells... *brain explodes*

I'm in the midst of creating a level 13 Factotum 8/Chameleon 5 for a high level 3.5 campaign atm, and I've run into the problem of selecting the large amount of spells that my character has acquired over his career thusfar.

I'm even thinking of asking the DM to let my Chameleon cast like a sorcerer instead, limiting my spell selection.

Oh, and since I usually play rogues, this will be my first remotely "spell-casty" character.

    My questions are:
-How do you (yes, you) organise spells for your character?
-Any spells I should get in particular? I have up to level 4 spells in Arcane and Divine.
-Have you encountered any similar situations?
-Oh... and any advice for a player of the Chameleon class?

    Discuss, please.

Word documents, lots of Word documents. Make 3, one for each of your Chameleon lists and one for the Factotum list. Then make another that lists your usual prepared spells by level and class and a short blurb about what they do.

I play primarily 3.5 D&D. Most of my advice will be based off of this. If my advice doesn't apply, specify a version in your post.

Ema's character sheets don't cost anything, and the dynamic spell sheets let you print out spells from whatever source books you select.

Personally, I made excel sheets of spells, so that I can easily sort by casting time, school, SR, Save type - whatever I need to know.

Hey, the magnificent Shades of gray made me the cool paladin! Give him a hand!
From time to time, I vanish from the boards. Like Frosty, though, I'll be back again some day!
