    Default Peach Icon?

Would it be possible to have a Peach (as in the fruit) message icon for people that want their posts PEACHed withouth haveing to have that phrase all over the d20 forum?

It's an acronym started on the WotC boards that stands for Please Examine And Critic Honestly.

It's used a lot here as well. I think a 'smiley' sized peach would be a good idea.

Personally, if that happened you would never see the end of it. ::)

I think this would confuse people for quite some time, if implemented.

You get tons of people going "What's PEACH?" already, but at least it's fairly obvious it's an acronymn for something. Imagine what would happen when people see a little emoto-peach...

Suddenly, I am in favor of this idea.

I don't think a lot of people would like it if it was banned (I wouldn't miss it) but I see this as a fair compromise.

See - right there's your problem. You think I have other people's interests in mind, when really I'm only thinking of myself.

I personally don't see the need. Most stuff people post that are their own creations is with the intent that others look and comment on it. It seems like it is something that can go unsaid. I personally rarely even look at the icons. And I would bet that most people that read the d20 board read most of the initial posts. They might not continue to follow the thread, but they will know partly what it is about.

In summary, If the mods can put one in, great, but I don't think it will have a large impact.

What kind of magical powers do you think we mods have?

Only RawBearNYC has access to the YaBB code for modification. The rest of us just get lumped into it, somehow.

Having gamed with Ray, I can honestly say he often has awesome wit. Very funny (and good) person.

(psst - Ray... is that enough ass-kissing to ensure this peach thing never happens? ;D)

But the peach icon wouldn't go in the post, it would go between the foot and the thread title. You know, where no one would probably notice it anyway. Or the fact that people always forget to change a message icon.

Regarding the Peach thing, which I've been avoiding.

I don't get it. I don't know that I would make a single post that I wouldn't want ot PEACH. So, if they're all PEACH-able, then who needs a special icon to say so?

You could always feed it to Wampa. He's probably pretty hungry after Raw Bear didn't want to be eaten.
