Profane Lifeleech
Now I know that this feat (from Libris Mortis) is not the best in the world...especially when you get past about level 5 and 1d6 damage is all but insignificant...but ever since I first saw it I fell in love with it. Unfortunately, I've yet to actually use it because (well, mainly because I've yet to play a Cleric in a game, but that's beside the point) Feats are such a rare commodity.
So, my challenge is this; find a place for this Feat of (not so much) Doom. Further, some suggestions for a character built thematically around the idea of draining health/vitality would be appreciated.
My initial thought was the Master of Shrouds PrC...sure you lose a level of Spellcasting, but you get Extra Turning as a bonus Feat (combined with the Undeath Domain gives you +8 Rebuke attempts per day) and a specialised Summon Undead. It also has very easy entry qualifications (I believe that you can take your 1st level of MoS at level 4 or 5).
Are there any Feats or Class Abilities that expand the range or damage of Su Abilities, 'cos they could apply to Profane Lifeleech?I apologise if I come across daft. I'm a bit like that. I also like a good argument, so please don't take offence if I'm somewhat...forthright.
Please be aware; when it comes to 5ed D&D, I own Core (1st printing) and SCAG only. All my opinions and rulings are based solely on those, unless otherwise stated. I reserve the right of ignorance of errata or any other source.

Re: Profane Lifeleech
Seems like some of mama's good ol' homebrew spif-up-the-feat is in order.
