i want to create a game

i want to create my own dnd 3.5 game. i need 2 things:

1.a helping hand
2.map creating software

i want to creat a game that is very open ended (think oblivion sized), so somthing that can show a very large area, yet can also show buildings.

Can't help ya with the game currently, too busy with my own dnd work, but I can show you AutoREALM, which is what I use for my maps, dungeon or world. Kind of complicated and not very user friendly, but you figure things out and it can do a lot of useful stuff.

The fractal lines are handy for realistic coastlines in a world map.

Free Map Making Program (AutoREALM)

Free Graphics Design Program (InkScape) <---Not a mapmaker, per say, but alot of folks like to use it.

Oh and:

i like pie more than you

If that is true, my good sir (and it cannot possibly be), what kind of pie is the best?
