    Default Draconic Heritage Question

I remember somewhere listing "Ability to spontaneously cast arcane spells" rather than "sorcerer level first" as a requirement to Draconic heritage... but my DM says it isn't so.
Help? What rulebook am I thinking of?

    Sources of Dragonic Heratige:

    Complete Arcane
    Races of the Dragon
    Dragon Magic

Odds are, the change you are looking for is in Dragon Magic. It was the latest printing of the Dragonic Heratige Feat. It has Dragontouched, which allows you to qualifiy for the feats as a Sorcerer of your level.

    What is dragontouched? A template?

Feat from the book. Can only be taken at 1st level, but a level-dip into Dragonfire Adept gets you it no matter what (and a few other goodies).
