    Default Various Wizard advancements?

As a group of BBEG's in my D&D 3.5 campaign I want a group of eight mages, each one with a different specialisation.

While I know I could just specialise them and pick different feats I was specifically looking for some prestige classes to focus their abilities. Example: Wizard/Cleric/True Necromancer for my Necromancy specialist, but if a better option exists please post it.

Also if you feel the urge then they don't have to start as a wizard eg. warmage for the evoker.

If you can then please make them 20 level advancement lines and I'll just power them down as and when my guys get to them.

    Thanks in advance.

The Master Specialist prestige class from Complete Mage might be appropriate.

Just some thoughts off the top of my head:

Abjuration - Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil, Abjurant Champion
    Conjuration - Wayfarer Guide, Malconvoker
    Divination - Loremaster, Divine Oracle
    Enchantment - Harbinger/Sublime Chord/Mindbender
Evocation - Warmage, War Wizard of Cormyr
    Illusion - Beguiler, Shadowcraft Mage
Necromancy - Dread Necromancer, Death Master
Transmutation - Child of Night, Master Transmogrifist

Master Specialist for all of them.

toned down? There must be a more powerful version of the PrC in the FRCS or something, because the one in the DMG is trash. The only broken part is Circle Magic.

I was referring to the Zulkirs in particular and circle magic is core to the power of Red Wizards, that and super specialization And specialization is what he's asking for not class criticisms.

The original 3.0 Red Wizards got -ridiculous- Save DC adjustments to spells from their specialty school, to the point where saving against their spells was nigh impossible.

At OP: I remember doing this with the Circle of Nine from the Legacy of Kain series, neat idea. Master Specialist is probably your best bet as far as prestige classes are concerned.

Master Specialist looks very promising, and I may look into some of those suggested by Jaxgaret.

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

Probly more like Wiz3/MS10/Red7. So long as you don't get to greater circles it's mostly ok-ish in a campaign so long as you don't have caster minions able to contribute above 3rd level spells for your pool.
Give them bread and circusses and the plebs wont rise against you. Give adventurers dungeons and trapped chests and they won't waste time looking to ransack your home and kill your wife.

UA adds options to specialize further the wizards: you gain features linked to your specialization renouncing to the familiar, bonus feat and so on.

If they WORTH, is up to you. PHII has similar alternative class features, as familiar substitution.

Anyway, Master Specialist is a MUST, IMHO.
