The Order of the Stick Battle Record
Well, idk if this idea already exists or not, but since it's not on the firsts pages, well... I'd like to make a record of it :)
First I'll post the battles I considered and I want to discuss with everyone if they agree or not on the winners. I take into consideration that a KO is a win (even if they finish off their rival or not), as well as fleeing a battle is an automatic lose. This said because you'll find some arguable decisions from my point of view (eg. Belkar KOed Miko and didn't finish her off because it was boring, or too many "rounds" in Elan-Kubota because the later only knew how to escape), and I don't want to express my point of view here, but everyone's opinion about the different battles.
If you feel I should add another battles, just post it. After finishing this, I'd like to make a "Win:Lose Record" for each character.

Re: The Order of the Stick Battle Record
Big Red Demon should probably be Big Red Devil as Qarr is a Devil and therefore not likely to be allied to a demon.

You forgot several battles against goblins and ninjas. Or does this only count battles between named parties?

The Order of the Stick vs. Miko (Rain Battle)
Belkar vs. Miko (2nd KO)
Belkar vs. Yokyok

Re: The Order of the Stick Battle Record
I'd argue that V was more responsible for Trigak's defeat than Belkar was--after all, the creature was already defeated and about to run away purely from V's assault. Just because Belkar dealt the actual killing blow doesn't mean he defeated Trigak.

Re: The Order of the Stick Battle Record
Only one demon that I know of is vulnerable to silver, not Cold-iron. Carnage demon from MMV. And looks nothing like the Big Red (probably Devil)

Re: The Order of the Stick Battle Record
In Cliffport, you're missing Roy vs. Kitty (winner Roy, by bisection).
And Haley vs. Tsukiko should be counted as a win for Haley, not Tsukiko: They got the food, freed the slaves, and escaped back to the tunnels, which was their plan all along. Tsukiko failed to stop them. If you want to give Tsukiko some credit for that fight, give her victories over Isamu (killed) and Thanh (dominated).Time travels in divers paces with divers persons.

Re: The Order of the Stick Battle Record
I think it would make more sense if in each battle, the winner was one of the named parties. For example, the battle between Trigak and the OOTS would have the OOTS named as the winner. You can add notes about anyone else who contributed to the victory.

Re: The Order of the Stick Battle Record
In the Roy vs Sabine fight, she didn't withdraw--she surrendered. And then Roy threw here through a window after she said that he could do anything that he wanted to her.
Oh, and there was a Belkar vs MitD battle, too. Much like with Miko, the MitD didn't even realize that he was being attacked, and Belkar withdrew.Last edited by dps; 2008-10-12 at 10:12 PM.

You forgot the battle in the hex-grid. OotS v. The Witch, in the Starmetal sidequest.

Re: The Order of the Stick Battle Record
That strikes me as the whole point; frequently, battles are won by somebody who wasn't strictly speaking a participant.
Look up the flash animation battles for 8-bit Theatre: in over half of them, including Thief vs Thief, and Garland vs Forest Imps, the actual winner turns out to be Black Mage.Guide to the Magus, the Pathfinder Gish class.
