Spontaneous Druid

Wizards have Sorcerors. Clerics have favored souls. Is there a spontaneous casting druid out there? If not would be it be too much of a problem to give them the same progressions as favored souls or sorcerors and make them charisma-based?
I'm thinking this could help get rid of some of the I'm a druid...I'm a hermit... I don't work well with people feeling as well.

Spirit Shaman from Complete Divine chooses a selection of Druid spells each day and casts spontaneously from the selection. I think it actually has the best spell progression in the game (Sorcerer spells per day, Wizard rate of advancement). It has the same MAD as Favored souls, though.


Or just use the Spontaneous Druid variant from Unearthed Arcana. Maybe base casting off Charisma and call it a day.
