I could very easily technobabble a dimensional/temporal flux which causes two Alexs to exist when one is busy in a plot, which totally fits with his multi-dimensional backstory.

I'm just saying thats the one where Lex is, as far as I know.

Okay, I'm resurrecting this thread so we can decide ONCE AND FOR ALL what defences the base has.

Fan has proposed this:

1. True seeing on a arcane eye device. (SUPER CAM!) this detects magic auras (without the overwhelm.), and does the basic true seeing effects.

2. A divintation effect 2 days ahead of the current security feed that is recorded on seprate tapes. This also has a true seeing effect present.

3. A 2ft lead lining in between the walls. Preventing horrible strcutural damage (Ie. go through the lead in addition to the walls.), raditiaon prevention, and also prevents scry's INTO the base, but not if the scryer is already within the base.

4. A mordinkaidens private sanctum effect on all the rooms within GLoG.

5. A Prismatic wall effect for anybody who fails the above scans.

6. A X-ray scan on everyone who goes through. (non radioactive.)

7. Protection from evil on the entire base.

8. A replusion effect on any EVIL creature who does not speak the pass word: I shall do no harm.

9. A SHADES spell that produces a correct spell against the alignment of the trangressor as such: Good: Dominate monster commandign them to HALT! Lawful evil: Maw of chaos. Chaotic evil: Flurry wings (Draconomicon)
Neutral evil: Holy word, Holy SMITE heightened to 9th lvl.

My suggestions:

10. Keep the no-unauthorized-teleporting thing within the base, but the grounds are open
11. Alignment scanners
12. A blessing to anyone of good alignment

14. Greater Sanctuary, target: Everyone.

Another me suggestion:

15. Remove the ban on the anti-magic-field spell. Since we're not playing D and D, we can ignore it's broken-ness. People can try and create anti-magic effects, but the people targeted by the spell get to say how much it affects them.

16. All bedrooms are completely scry-proof

Eh, some of those defences seem like a little bit of overkill. I mean, True Seeing Detect Alignment two-days in advance?
I mean, do you really need that?

In my opinion, all you really need is the Greater Sanctuary, Hallow, Detect Alignment and True Seeing.
Call in your security doodz if need be.

((For those unaware, Greater Sanctuary pretty much stops any from of violence and Hallow marks it as holy ground [undead and evil folk get negatives, etc. . .]))

Seriously. I don't remember. I am going for the spell from Neverwinter Nights.

EDIT:

Oh yes. For the Record. Hallow is the exact same thing as an area wide Protection from Evil. So 13 overrides 7. Neither effect is actually much problematic for evil people. It is just added defenses to good people.
