The Man with the Burlap Sack
(He goes by Heis Tracks when a name is asked for)

Class: Merger (A sort of Summoner that temporarily merges with the thing he summons)

Appearance: His appearance seems to perpetually remain the same. Heis looks to be a man in his late thirties or early forties, a pale creature with several distinguishing features. His hair is a short, greasy, stringy mop of crow-black. His clothes consist of a short, dark duster, a grey long-sleeve shirt, and a pair of torn grey sweat pants. His clothes are no cleaner than his face, seemingly encrusted with some indescribable goo and torn in several places. Heis's clothing and hair is eternally disheveled, crooked and wrinkled. His face and features are sharp and pointed in several places, his nose and chin in particular.
There is a constant shake to Heis's movements, a violent trembling that he can't seem to control on his own. His eyes are bloodshot, slimy things of a sickening green. These eyes are at a constant shift, scanning his surroundings in a paranoid manner. From time to time, the greasy man may appear to whisper to himself in a fast, twitchy manner.
Equipment and Abilities: Heis carries little more than the clothes described above. No provisions, no weapons. A few personal affects, for the most part.
And then there's the sack. The large, black, burlap sack that Heis carries protectively over his shoulder. There appears to be something... alive inside it. A large, writhing mass that pokes out into the fabric from time to time.
Those few who have seen the thing in the bag and remained sane have called it 'horrifying' at best. Simply looking upon it for extended periods of time has been rumoured to drive a person mad. The shape of the thing, and the way it moves, are said to sicken and disturb. For those unlucky folk who have fought it, few have called it anything more than 'very strong and very fast'. It's other abilities, if any, are unrecorded. Why Heis hangs around with it is anyone's guess.
Backstory: Heis's origins are known to but a rare few.
Personality: Heis is best described as a chronically paranoid individual. He is abhorrent to reveal anything about himself or his origins, and will even get violently defensive if pestered about his burlap sack. He is very protective of this object, so much so that he would give his life to protect it. If you were really try and understand him (no small feat) you would find little more than a scared, lost child who both loves and hates that which has always been with him: the burlap sack. Of course, this frightened extraneous personality may be nothing more than a ruse to hide the terrifying, irrational madness beneath the surface. Tzymine is about 6'1" tall. She has smooth, grey skin; dull-silver-white hair; small ears and two nasal slits rather than a nose; six-fingered, dexterous hands; and eyes that change colors to display emotions. She is attractive, but in no way is she a bombshell.
Her work outfit is a protective labcoat, gloves, boots, and goggles.
Her nonwork outfit is a tank-top and black pants.
Equipment and Abilities: Tzymine is very intelligent. Her hexadactylic (six-fingered) hands are very dexterous. In terms of physical strength, she is at a reasonable level; she exercises fairly regularly and is of good endurance.
She has many tools and such sciency things with which to do her sciency work.
Personality: Tzymine is not an incredibly friendly or outgoing person. She's not a total recluse... she just prefers her work over people. People can get so absurd over trivial matters.

Description:
[optional avatar sized image]Idari has brown hair, blue eyes and fair skin, and generally wears a light blue dress that's designed so that she has the maximum agility possible, while still being acceptable for negotiations- a blend between form and function. Indeed, all her clothing fits this. She generally wears an ornate brooch made out of some golden metal, with a large, black gemstone set in the center.
Equipment and Abilities: As a Solar Exalted, Idari has a number of abilities that could be considered... superhuman. In her case, these mostly focus around social abilities, with her being a very charismatic and persuasive speaker even without her Exaltation. She is also experienced in the Mantis Style of supernatural martial arts. As an Eclipse Caste, she is also able to 'bind' promises, invoking Heaven itself as a witness to the deal, in which case anyone who breaks the terms of the agreement is under Heaven's curse. There are very few ways around this- even a god would suffer from breaking a Witnessed oath.

Power Rating: 2 (E/E-)
Description: Iggy's a short dark grey creature, no more than a foot tall, and in the basic humanoid shape (i.e. two arms, two legs, head, neck, torso). His head, however, is bulbous and round, a bit smaller than a closed fist. His arms, legs, neck and body are spindly and flexible, and both his feet and arms are quite dexterous, with four claws on each.
Equipment/Abilities: Iggy's never seen without his wrench, which about as big as he is. It's rare, however, that you'll see him actually wrenching anything with it, he usually prefers to use it as a sort of improvised club, hitting things that don't work, or people that stand too close when things don't work.
He's very strong for his size, as shown by his ability to heft a chunk of metal that weighs more than he does around with ease. However he's still nowhere near as strong as other races.
He's very flexible and agile, able to fit in tiny crevices which logically it shouldn't be possible for him to fit into.

Ok so here is all my stuff put together into one.
Faction Profile:
Operation: Winged Rebirth
Faction Name: Operation: Winged Rebirth
Faction Leader: Alisaire Reprase
Faction Talents: Operation: Winged Rebirth is all about the breeding of the lost race of pegasi, the flying horses. The pegasi are also part of a large operation to bring down technology and bring magic and the like back into the world. The regular agents of the operation use modern weapons. But there is a special ops force that can use magic. Also, the leader Alisaire Reprase, can use magic and rides a specially breeded unicorn/Pegasus hybrid. The operations numbers reach 100 fully trained pegasi and their riders, 20 pegasi in training, 25 pegasus riders in training, and 125 foot soldiers.
Operation: Winged Rebirth Beliefs and Creed:
Technology and Magic: The technology of Winged Rebirth isn't based through technology. The footsoldiers carry common laser hand guns. Whereas all Pegasus riders possess a multitude of different magics. The breakdown of pegasus riders by type of magic is as follows:
10 Illusionists
5 Transporters
10 Defenders
25 Element Wielders (Fire, water, ice, lightning)
5 Healers
20 Light Wielders
10 Time Controllers
5 Telepaths
10 Telekenetics
Their leader Alisaire is skilled in all of these.
Race and gender:
All pegasus riders except for their leader are female.
All foot soldiers are male.
Religion: Open acceptance into the operation, all members are converted to worshipping Letana, Goddess of Magic creatures.
Movement: So far, the Operation has only been doing small secretive missions. Due to the large military forces around Acro, no full out fights are planned any time soon.
Location: A secret base hidden in a mountain range in Outside. A age distance away from any other organizations.
Security: Only their troops. No high tech lasers or turrets or stuff.

In the industrial area, a building is rented and has a new sign put out front.

The building itself consists of a small office area in front and warehouses in back. There is no indication of what sort of business this is, but a certain cyborg with a satellite might recognize the logo and name.
Winslow is a hardworking man who once had his life's work stolen from him. He was forced (forced, I say!) to turn to villainy in order to support his wife and kids. Of course the same wife and kids keep his villainy from being too outright and destructive. After all, he doesn't want to destroy the world they go to school in, and his teenage daughter would never forgive him if he did something flamboyantly evil and embarrassed her in front of her friends.
Willow is vain enough to enjoy her newfound power over boys, but too naive to recognize how dangerous that power can be. She inherited her dad's knack for engineering, but tries to suppress her interest because, duh, it's like totally lame. However, she did agree to work for her dad for the summer.

Evangelion (Evan for short), has a strange colored hair. It's black with neon blue stripes in it, and it's spiked randomly, with long bangs on the left side of his face. He has on a long black coat, and two shoulder pieces on the sides. The coat has some eerily ancient symbols on the sides, and the symbols appear to be glowing... When Evangelion chooses to, he can summon his wings, one demonic, one angelic, to defeat his opponents.

Evangelion does not carry equipment, preferring to summon it with Incantations. He usually uses the Pankratosword, and his version of it is a medium sized scythe, that seems to be made of bones. He can also use epic-level spells, mostly dangerous ones that are either AoE or just plain evil attacks.
Backstory:
SpoilerEvangelion is a Fallen Angel who was trying to regain his wings. He was cast out for fighting and killing a fellow Angel, not out of spite or anger, but merely to see if it could be done. As he was cast down, through sheer willpower he kept his wings, but only barely.
SOUL Agency: - Saviors Of Ultimate Lives.
SpoilerSoon after Evangelion Fell, he was captured by an agency known as SOUL. SOUL's duty was to help, and protect the Fallen like him. Evangelion was soon sent out on missions with Soul, due to his masterful abilities with magic.
Project REAPER: - Rejection Enhancement And Peerless Embodiment Restoration
SpoilerAfter Evangelion had gone on several missions, he was noticed by Project REAPER. Project REAPER's duty was to capture, study, and figure out ways for humans to gain the abilities of Angels. Evangelion escaped, but he barely made it out with his life, and during his time at REAPER, he became a Swordmage, capable of summoning weapons to aid him. But... While he was there, he discovered that both SOUL and REAPER were merely servants of a far greater agency... The agency he now searches for.
SANCTUARY.

Faction Talents: SANCTUARY trains their soldiers to nigh-indestructible levels, in hopes to make sure that they can easily capture and kill Angels.

Technology and Magic: SANCTUARY has advanced technology, and they rarely touch magic, believing it to be the stuff of the Angels, which is why they capture them, and all magic-users.
Race and gender:
Anyone, so long as they're willing to operate and kill and capture Angels.
Religion: SANCTUARY accepts one and all, as long as the recruit's beliefs do not conflict with their mission.
Movement: SANCTUARY is currently doing small-scale operations. They do not want to attract attention to themselves until they are large enough to attack with impunity.
Location: A very small mountain range in Outside. They use high-grade cloaking technology, as well as illusionary magicks, to keep themselves hidden.
Security: SANCTUARY has its own private army, as well as laser turrets, magic detectors, and a crack team of fifty scryers constantly looking for movement.

Age: Appears to be 19.
Appearance:SpoilerHe is of an average height, with an athletic build. Ghost has neck length brown hair, with his bangs barely covering his right eye. He has a few stray strands of hair sticking up at the front, and the back is messy, and often tied back. His almost metal gray eyes give off a feeling of intelligence, and are constantly absorbing the surroundings. He wears a black fingerless glove on his right hand, which is inscribed with the a glyph. He wears a simple black turtleneck, with a hidden guard around his neck, and a pair of well worn leather greaves. His shoes are simple boots, and he often wears a single silver skull earring. His belt is a suspicious leather belt, which when the buckle is angled correctly, reveals several secret slots for glyphs.
Special Abilities: Various spells, teleportation, ability to seemingly vanish. (See Vetinari from Discworld to figure out what it's like.)
Combat Proficiencies: Swords, Katanas, Most magical weapons.
Common Knowledge: He has no past that he can remember, or it could be that I'm a lazy bastard.
Connections: Sol, and Ven are both inside of his body now, because of a freak accident. Also, because I cannot be bothered to come up with a reason why I wasn't posting for two straight years.
Glyphs:Spoiler
Reconcilio - The standard-issue ENCLAVE Glyph is inscribed upon his broadsword and his glove.
Ignis - The Glyph for fire is inscribed upon his glove, which he imbued with the power of fire to give him a slight edge against melee opponents.
Infragilis - The Glyph for unbreakable is inscribed on his sword, to make sure it will not chip and shatter.
Fortuna - On a whim, Ghost inscribed the Glyph for luck upon his earring. While this usually has no effect, it sometimes shines, which is why he continues to wear it.
Vereor - The Glyph for Fear is inscribed upon his crossguard, so if his opponent gets to close for comfort he can emit a wave of fear.

Iathis, 'King of the Dead'
Gender: Male
Race: Mohrg
Age: He doesn't remember anymore.
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Power Rating: A
Description: Iathis looks like most Mohrgs. At first glance, he may resemble something of a regular old undead human Skeleton. However, it's difficult not to notice the slime-coated, fleshy, intestine-like undead parasite that covers his torso and fills his rib cage. The color of this parasite is a blood red rather than the typical pink, denoting his position as a Greater Mohrg.
A pair of tentacles spread upward from the parasite and wrap around the Mohrg's arms, ending at his wrists in strange, mouth-like things with three hook-like teeth. A similar tentacle wraps around his spine and occupies the space where his tongue would be, writhing up and reaching out of his bleached mouth or recoiling inside as he wishes. His 'eyes' are twin pits of cavernous darkness resting in the center of his skull, nothing but empty sockets given sight by necromantic energy.
As he never takes it off, it is best to know that he wears what was once a pricey suit, a fine thing now reduced to a dusty, smelly, dirty piece of clothing that is ripped and stained with blood in several places. The tie, along with several buttons, are missing, partially revealing his ribcage and the parasite in his chest.
Equipment and Abilities: Iathis is most likely the strongest, fastest undead you will ever see. He has physical power equal to that of some older dragons, and mental capabilities rivalling that of lesser liches. He uses his physical power sparingly in most cases, however. The parasite that gives him strength is old, and heavy, repeated combat may leave him powerless for minutes or hours at a time while the creature 'catches it's breath'. However, most people he goes up against don't last long enough to see this occurrence.
Iathis can cast some mid-level wizard or necromancer spells, making him a competent magic user as well. However, most magic-users with real experience tend to out-class him, and his spells are sloppy and violent at best.
Besides these abilities, he has skill as a manipulator, liar, cheat, and general sower of dissent.
He has no earthly possessions besides his horrid suit.
Backstory: Mohrg's automatically remember little of their previous lives. Iathis gets flashbacks, now and then. Murder. Blood. Explosions. Lots of explosions. He was buried with his suit.
He likes those flashbacks.
After he became undead, Iathis was bound to the service of a necromancer. He was content, for a time. Murder and bloodshed were as fun as ever. After nearly fifty years of service, the necromancer keeled over and died. He'd attempted the ritual of lichdom, but had simply killed himself instead. So Iathis went off to find a real lich. You see, Iathis didn't much like thinking for himself at first. And that necromancer had always had plenty of people for him to kill. He spent the next couple hundred years wandering the land, slaughtering random adventurers or small villages as he pleased.
He eventually did find a lich, a bookish creature named Arla Teyce. She took him under her wing and taught him some magic, but being a Mohrg, he was never able to fully master the art.
Arla had big plans for their world. After a brief campaign of gathering followers and minions, they conquered a small kingdom that Iathis forgets the name of. After which they promptly slaughtered every living thing in the kingdom, turning it into legion of the undead. The Mohrg served as Arla's lieutenant for the remainder of their time together.
This legion of plague and death swept across the world's main continent as though a great tide, devouring and transforming all in it's path. Whilst Arla worked her magic from afar, Iathis led their armies on the front lines, and kingdom after kingdom fell to their unstoppable might. All the while Iathis was growing more and more intelligent, and quite a bit less Chaotic.
But their relationship soon soured. Arla grew far too controlling and bossy for Iathis' liking. One night, while Arla was off preparing her spells for the next day, Iathis discovered her phylactery.
It took the Mohrg about eight seconds to make up his mind what to do about this. He crushed the phylactery in his bony palm. There was a scream and a fizzling sound as he did so. Iathis found a pile of ash and arcane robes where Arla had once studied.
For the next decade Iathis ran the empire on his own, using what Arla had taught him to cut his way forward. His advance was halted briefly by a conclave of mages and their families, seeking to defend themselves and their home. All were killed, but for the archmage. The Archmage decimated Iathis' entourage, his main army off at the country's other borders. Iathis fought the archmage, using the abilities granted by his status as a Greater Mohrg.
In the end, the monster lost. The mage trapped him in a warded tomb, and, opening a portal, cast the vile creature into the Abyss.
It was centuries before the Abyss spat the tomb back out, strange energies propelling the casket into a new place: the multiverse of ACRONYM and TOWN. The tomb's wards are broken or gone. Now, at last, he awakens.Last edited by Murkus; 2010-05-14 at 09:54 PM.

Faction Profile: The Mission Settlement
General Information- Reform Centers: Currently, the Mission of the Godking has made care centers in condesnsed, low-income areas. These care centers provide moral aid and ethical advice for all of those who enter.
- Church Summit: The Mission centers also provide church service, in worship of the Godking. The service hours are whenever a Cleric or Bishop is not preoccupied.
- Tremendous Architecture: If one were to visit the High Cathedral of His Majesty, the Godking, they would be able to see the high walls, the angels weeping in repentance, the great artwork inspired by him, and, if annointed with the special ceremony "incense," obtain a service from the Godking's Champion, Nazorath.
- Restuarant: The Godking, being a benevolent leader, has instructed his followers to create what is now known as "Restuarants" as part of the Care Center/Church. These serve delicacies such as Deep Fried Lamb, Rat on the Barbie, and, a family favorite, Fish Eye Stew.
- Private Military: The Mission also offers protection from the forces of evil, with high-end technology and faith itself. They are His fist.
Faction Leader: One could say the Godking, but the current leader who has not ascended is High Champion Nazorath.
Faction Talents: Despite not having the mystical powers of other "Clerics" the Godking offers his music, his power in the forms of military, and his morale. It is nigh impossible to see a distraught worshipper.

Power Rating: D (without his vehicle and other preparations)
Description: A man of average height and build, Gary's appearance isn't particularly special in many regards. He is lightly muscled, rather wiry, and has a paler skin tone than most men his age. His features are a combination of rounded and angular, with a short nose and cleft chin, but a smooth, round face. His head is shaved, almost bald but for a constant grey shadow of his hair that covers his bare scalp.
His hands are callused and rough from his work as an engineer, and parts of them are scarred with chemical burns. You'll typically find him wearing work clothes, such as overalls, sleeveless white shirts (covered in assorted stains) and goggles for eye protection.
Finally, his eyes are a solid, sharp grey. His eyebrows are very thin and rather light in color.
Equipment and Abilities: Gary's most prominent possession is a large, rail-less train-like vehicle that he has christened the Nelle. It is composed of advanced, powerful Elven technology combined with Gary's own mechanical aptitude. It is a four-carred, lengthy vehicle with a combination of treads and tires to provide locomotion. These combined allow it to pass over or through a variety of terrain. He rides this train everywhere. It his his home and his greatest pride and joy, for a large number of reasons. Not only does it possess competent weapons systems, it can become an armoured instrument of death at any given moment.
Upon this train he keeps his other possessions. Being a borderline pyromaniac and demolitions expert, he keeps a variety of explosive devices (all his own designs or stolen weapons) on hand at any given moment. Though he doesn't just randomly set things on fire, he enjoys a good explosion now and then. They are beautiful things.
Besides these, he keeps three different weapons on the train. First, a small 9mm pistol, always by his hip. Second, a double barreled Ruger Gold Label shotgun by his bedstead. Third, a Russian-style RPG-7 rocket propelled grenade launcher. Also by his bedstead. He's collected quite a few souvenirs in his travels. Some oddities, some dangerous, some powerful. He knows how to utilize very few of them, however. I'll elaborate more on what special items he possesses in character.
His abilities generally consist of an extreme proficiency for mechanical and chemical engineering, allowing him to build or create whatever machines and weapons he requires. His chemical engineering is primarily utilized for the creation explosives, but he's found other ways to use it in the past. He tried building battle armour once, using all his skill... it didn't work out so well.
After ten years as an adventurer, Gary also has some skill with firearms, about the average abilities of a standard human soldier.
Backstory:
Gary was born to a low-class TOWN family. The Tumacks had been this way for generations, living off what they could get a hold of in the Slums. The last Tumack who'd made it big was Gary's grandfather, a weapons tycoon. Gary wanted to be the next. So he purposely excelled in school, just barely earning a scholarship.
The first chance he got, he went off to the cheapest university he could find and set to work learning chemical and mechanical engineering. He loved it. Being a borderline pyromaniac, and part-time arsonist, he put most of his time into creating demolitions equipment.
After he left school, he tried selling his equipment. Business didn't much pick up, but he got by.
He soon found a new calling: as an adventurer. The work was exciting, dangerous, and several parties were desperately in need of someone with mechanical know-how. So he hopped in his RV and set out with some exploratory friends.
For over a decade Gary travelled the multiverse, learning about the ACRONYMs, the different worlds, and the myriad dangers that awaited transdimensional travellers. The majority of two parties died in his presence, the rest disbanding or setting out on their own.
It was with his third party that Gary happened upon a city of the Elves. It wasn't like other Elven cities: these were the elves of the future, possessing graceful, sleek technology and genius-level scientists. The elves welcomed adventurers, being an almost entirely Neutral Good city. This was where Gary first began to lean towards the forces of good.
It was also where he met Nelle, the love of his life. She was a beautiful Elven missionary working to help the less fortunate races of her world. The two met when Gary unknowingly entered an Elven temple of Salaria, Goddess of Healing and Shelter.
From then on they began dating. Gary's adventuring party left, refusing to stay to satisfy the desires of a single comrade. The relationship between the engineer and the priestess grew intimate after a time, and Gary asked Nelle to come back to TOWN with him. She declined, saying her place was here with those who need her. She made a counter-offer: for him to stay there, and to be with her.
Gary was torn between a triumphant, happy return to his home and a life with Nelle. In the end, he decided to leave. Those years as an adventurer had produced a wanderlust in the engineer's heart. He had to know what TOWN was like so many years later. But Nelle swore she would visit Gary one day, perhaps when her work was finally done.
Gary had become friends with many elves during his stay. He was a well-liked human amidst a varitable sea of immigrants. After a time, he had managed to get some friendly Elven engineers together.
These Engineers helped him turn his RV into something amazing. It became the streamlined, powerful vehicle described above, a perfect tool for an adventurer. They even installed a Portal drive in the vehicle, allowing Gary to travel from world to world without the aid of others. Gary thanked his friends, said a long goodbye to Nelle, and set off back to TOWN.
It would be another year before he finally made it back. And here is where a new chapter of Gary's life begins: here, at his home, in TOWN. He named his new vehicle after his elven love, christening it the Nelle and emblazoning the name on the side of the pilot's car. He isn't quite sure where he'll go yet. He's not even sure if he's still in a relationship with Nelle. All he knows is that there are some adventures to be had.
Personality: Gary is paranoid. That is the very best description of his psyche. He is overly-cautious, obsessive, and often very panicky if things don't going too well. Not entirely fearful panic, either. Violent panic. However, this panic is often tempered by years of experience as an adventurer, so he can keep a level head in a fight where the odds are at least pretty favorable. If he's nearly killed more than once or twice, however, don't expect him to be all sunshine and rainbows.
Gary is not an easy person to get to know. He often is very distrustful of people's motives, and he tends to be unfriendly if you make a bad impression. If he does like you, however, he tends to be a little chatty, if not hospitable. He may avoid telling you much about himself at first, but if you're nice, he probably won't have a problem. He has a particular like for elves after spending so long in one of their cities.
Gary is also a borderline pyromaniac. Fire is beautiful when utilized correctly, or so he sees it. Explosives aren't just tools, they're art in his eyes. If he can get away with blowing something up for no reason at all, he'll probably do it.Last edited by Murkus; 2010-05-16 at 04:04 PM.

Description:
Lykaios is a tall, slender youth. His leather shorts and hide shirt are almost as weather-beaten and battle scarred as his shadowy green travelling cloak, and his amateur attempts to repair his clothes just accentuate their wear. His body seems less worn than his clothes would suggest, and he is mostly unscarred, save a few black scars across his chest and one across the bridge of his nose. His short brown hair and non-muscular form do little to hide these scars, and his light blue eyes and pale skin contrast so sharply with the deep black scar on his face that people’s eyes rest naturally upon it.
Equipment:
Lykaios has his trademark shadowy green travel cloak and a blunt dagger that would fail even a master in combat.
Abilities:
Lykaios is the carrier of the Terminus disease, a magically created sickness designed to be a weapon. It can only pass via physical contact, however, and even then it is unlikely one will catch it, but if one does catch it, they start showing symptoms almost immediately, and there is no cure.
The disease causes intolerance to magic. Magical energy and magical spells give him headaches, make him feel naseated, and just generally make him feel sick. His symptoms are erratic, however, and one moment he may feel fine while the next he might feel terrible, especially when there is a lot of magical energy in the air. Eventually, he will die, as he'll get to the point that he'll no longer even be able to survive the magic in the air. Any person who has the disease will show similar if not identical symptoms.
Backstory:
Lykaios was an average farm boy until at the age of 14 he was taken during a raid by a terrorist group. He was taken to a lab where he was made the first test subject for the Terminus disease. After nearly three years of brutal tests, he was released into society, where the terrorists hoped he would spread the disease. So far, he has not, but this has come at the cost of human contact. Through his wanderings, he's found his way to the ACROverse.
Miscellaneous: The disease has a low chance of spreading, so it is unlikely one will be infected even if they do touch him. Even so, it is best that one doesn’t touch him unless they want to catch the disease…Last edited by TheAnomally; 2010-05-28 at 04:22 PM.

Special Abilities: Corvus has the ability to to take any object or part of an object smaller than himself and store it in an extra-dimensional pocket. He uses this ability in combat both offensively and defensively. He must be touching the object to store it, but he can then keep it indefinitely and bring it out intact at any time.
Equipment: A customized semiautomatic pistol and respectable amount of ammo.
Backstory: For a long time, Corvus (not his real name) worked under a secret organization dedicated to hunting demons. Over time, he became one of the most acclaimed hunters in the entire organization.
However, it turned out that the "demons" they hunted were actually humans with extra-dimensional powers not entirely dissimilar to his own.
Corvus refused to believe that the cause he had worked for for so long was false, and defended it with nearly insane zeal. At some point in the chaos that ensued, Corvus was forcibly removed from his home dimension and plopped down in the world of ACRONYM.

Description: Ordo is a short, milky pale man with soft, compact facial features. His shock of red hair is often tousled or hastily combed aside. The psion's amber eyes are perpetually fraught with exhaustion, his crimson brow drawn low and grim. He's not particularly skinny or fat, and not entirely out of shape despite the pudge around his stocky midriff.
Equipment and Abilities: He doesn't use much equipment besides the clothes he wears, excusing a few personal affairs.
He is a powerful shapeshifter, but not of the subtle variety. He doesn't do other humanoids well. Animals and monsters, mostly. But those, he does very well, gaining all of their strengths and abilities. Of course, he also takes on each creature's inherent weakness.
Ordo can also shift the bodies of other physical creatures - absorbing their wounds, their powers, or altering them significantly.
Backstory: A century ago, in a universe far, far away, some foolish high cleric thought it would be a good idea to make sure that no one had to sleep. "Wouldn't it be great," thought he, "If everyone could work and worship all the time without having to stop and sleep?"
He asked the gods of his world, and, them finding nothing wrong with being worshipped night and day, granted the wish. No one in the world needed to sleep.
But soon, many wanted sleep. Imagine, after days of staying awake, and being the most tired you've ever felt, and being unable to find rest. This was a side affect of the wish: most people still grew weary and tired, but they were unable to rest. The gods had not foreseen this, but their restless people turned away from gods when they initially failed to correct their mistake. The more... vile deities among them certainly didn't mind. As a result, the benevolent gods did not have enough power to change it back.
Soon, people began to go mad. Dementia set in. Throughout the surrounding universes, these people became known as the Insomniacs. The temples, the cities, the rich realm they'd built, it all disappeared in a frothy tide of violence and anarchy. The gods, horrified at their folly and the mass insanity of their followers, retreated to their homes and hid. They had relied on worship for sustenance, without it, they slowly wasted away. Their names have already been forgotten.
Ordo was eight when this occurred. His family, and the majority of the people in his city, went partially or completely insane after months or years without sleep. After a time, Ordo was the only one left in the city. And even he had begun to hallucinate. He began to see things... things he knew weren't there. But, thanks to his being a natural Psion, he was able to stave off the madness that had claimed the majority of his race. In part due to the swift application of a stasis tank by his still-sane father.
In the end, he left. His world held no more interest for Ordo. And so he travelled to Acronymia and the Nexus. He was employed by NO for a time, the company now known as MERC, before again drifting on to parts unknown.Last edited by Murkus; 2014-02-10 at 10:55 PM.

A specialist in Applied Physics and High-Energy Engineering, Sammie is an expert on Resonance Annihilation technology and its applications. She also maintains the equipment and robots used by herself and her team of Spacers, even modifying them with new features when needed.
Sammie is also a specialist in Heavy Weapons, launching attacks from extreme range and with devastating power. She is not very good in close-range combat however, preferring grappling moves to immobilize and subdue, rather than striking.
Her normally pleasant demeanor hides a sometimes caustic wit and a terrifying temper; thankfully she is extremely slow to anger and quick to brush off insult. Hair Color: Dark brown, complete with manly sideburns that give his face a rather rugged look, no beard though.
Occupation: Former Ace Pilot, now signed up as the number 1 candidate for a certain project.
Description: Tall, and leanly built with biceps that look like you could place a quarter in them, and shoot them out like bullets, he leaves his hair in it's natural state, not bothering to fuss with it thus resulting in a "wild" look. He has deep brown eyes that are slightly bordering on black near the iris, and usually wears loose fitting clothing off of duty ranging from jean jackets with a white undershirt, and blue jeans, to black pants, and a button down shirt if it's a special occasion... you'll never catch him DEAD in a suit though.
Personality: Rather lackadasical, he sees even his profession of being an Ace Pilot as nothing more than a game, something new to challenge him, and push him forward to new heights, he has even been caught antagonizing the inner city mafia just so they would send some guys to his house so he could have some "Fun" one weekend. Needless to say, this man is a psychopath, but he's a dead loyal one, refusing failure even if it would cost him his life.
Abilities:
Jeet Kun Do Master: Ever since he was a young boy, Dante has been all but homicidal, and bent towards the fight, and the feel of his blood boiling as he smashed a mans face in. He found the almost impossible to read, and deadly style of Jeet Kun Do to be perfect for his desired fighting style. Many years later, he is now licensed to be an instructor... if he'd ever find anyone willing to take a beating to learn it.
Ace Fighter Pilot: Saying that he's an Ace would be an understatement, calling him merely an ace is like calling an Olympic Figureskater merely a person with fancy footwork.. What he does with a fighter jet, his few surviving enemies have called an art form, every move, every barrel roll.. is like some sort of symphonic dance, never pausing, never stopping, and always pursuing it's goal.
Quick Thinker: Despite his rather brawny appearance, it takes quite the brain to both master a martial art, and fly a fighter jet like he does. Dante is able to quickly adapt to situations, a most for any would be ace fighter pilot, or anyone who frequently gets involved in street fighting.
