Reinholdt will continue trying to shoot the adept before more lightning comes his way.

In other news, DC tries to telekinetically pick up one armored cultist, specifically one of the two chasing him, and if succesful, he'll try to ram him into the other.

[Draken]

The robot will find that the magical ice is slow to melt and considerably harder than normal ice.

One of the cultists chasing DC is shoved against the other, and this second one loses his ice armor, but the two quickly regain their footing, and charge DC again.

Since one lost his ice armor, DC propels two daggers at him, still flying around and creating a comical chase scene.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt, seeing the others distracted, runs up to the shield and very carefully puts his paw against it to test it's strength. In other words see if it keeps out living matter, too.

[Ashen Lilies]

The drone emits a high pitch keening, intending to use the power of Harmonics to break free.

[Draken]

Reinholdt will have to dodge four cultists with spears to reach the leader, only to find that she and her orb are floating a good 20 feet in the air.

One soldier chasing DC dies.

The other soldier chasing DC stops running and points the spear at DC, calling in the power of Fimbul to bury DC under a hail of snow form the ceiling.

The ice holding the robot shatters.

[Boo]

Antony makes himself look pretty, and puts on a smile in his frosty condition. He would have done much more, but DC...

[Darkcomet]

DC is buried in snow, rather karmic if you ask me. However, a wave of force emanates from him, aiming to knock it off.

[Ashen Lilies]

The drone lets out a high pitched shriek, intending to distract or deafen the priestess enough for her shield to drop.

[Reinholdt]

Oh. More than he thought. Yet a cat dodging humans with spears is all too perfect. When Reinholdt realizes that it's floating, he runs straight at a cultist and when the cultist thrusts with his spear, he'll jump and try to latch onto the cultist's face, shredding and biting at it.

[Draken]

The snow will fall off DC without too much effort. However, DC will also find a spear aimed at his general chest area.

The priestess cringes a bit but the shield remains.

Reinholdt latches to a guy's face and starts raking, the guy starts screaming and flailing with his arms, trying to slap the cap out.

DC looks down at the spear.

That's not necessary, is it?

With that, he disappears, apparently reappearing at the ceiling. If the cultists have true seeing or something like that, they will see that DC is trying to back away from the spear cultist while the one at the ceiling is an illusion.

[Ashen Lilies]

The drone stops.
Hmm. It seems we need something more... Drastic.
The drone starts to play a recording of this at maximum volume. Oh yeah.

[Reinholdt]

After giving sufficient number of scars, Reinholdt leaps down so he'll stop being slapped and attempts to attack another cultist's leg in a similar manner, with hopes of either knocking him down or slowing him down.

And then falls down and clutches his ears while slowly backing up. Not so much because of the song, but because of the volume.

[Draken]

The priestess cringes at the loud noise and the awful music.

Stop it you fool! You will kill us all!

The cultists are also cringing.

Some of the stalactites start to ring to the sound.

And yea, no one has true seing.

[Reinholdt]

"I AGREE WITH THE LADY! Arggh..." Reinholdt keeps attacking his ears with his paws, trying to keep the sound out, while backing up against the cavern wall.

[Ashen Lilies]

But does the shield go down?

The drone takes it's advantage and stops the music, firing the laser at the Priestess for MAXIMUM EFFECT!

In which case, Illusion DC floats there doing nothing. Invisible Real DC starts trying to backstab the un-armored cultists.

Of course, if they had true seeing, they'd see that the dagger was floating just inside DC's stealth field, and he's actually got his hands over his ears.

[Draken]

No genius. The shield is what we mostly call a resilient sphere. A force effect. You can't affect it with sound and it does not rely on concentration to keep going.

Duh.

So yea. Cultists are stabbed. It's down to the priestess and one more dude.

The drone attempts to snipe the rest of the Cultists, since it does not have a rod of Cancellation or Negation, and it can't cast disintegrate or dispel magic. I guess we're stuck unless Fanboy undeadtimes. Unless Reinholdt knows the spell.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt does indeed have some minor spells. Nothing major, but dispel magic is among them. Whether he's strong enough to get rid of it... guess we'll find out, cause he tries now.

DC starts a-stabbin' at the shield.

After sniping the one guy, the drone goes over and thaws Antony with harmonics. >>

The cultist dies.

The priestess teleports to the edge of the steps of the staircase as Reinholdt dispells her defense, and runs up, quickly vanishing form view.

After maybe thawing Antony, the drone scuttles along the ceiling after her.

Invisible DC floats up there as well. The illusion fades away.

[Draken]

After a few feet of ceiling scuttling, the drone will find himself probably blocked by the ravages of the windstorm outside.

Except. Here, at the icy heart of the storm, it is much, much worse than anywhere else.

Reinholdt does his best to follow after the priestess. "Come on, don't let her get away."
