Frozen Mountain [ACRONYM]

[Boo]

Antony shakes his pen by his ear, hearing a slight swishing sound. A little disappointed, he stands from his chair. The first person to go near him will be met with a neat little trick of Antony stepping backwards, over his chair, and it being kicked toward their head. After which, he'll hide behind the nearest group member.

[Darkcomet]

DC simply shoots a glare at the cultists.

No.

An unseen wave of force tries to slam into the cultists.

[Reinholdt]

"Aw shoot." Reinholdt grabs the C4 and throws it in the middle of the room aiming for the largest gathering of cultists. "EVERYBODY FREEZE! Heh. Get it? Freeze?" Reinholdt clears his throat. "Yes, well. Anybody moves and I'll set that thing off and we all go sky high, got it?"

[Ashen Lilies]

The Drone fires its laser in a wide sweep at the roof above the cultists, hoping to kill them with a falling crush of ice.

[Draken]

The cultists die under the heavy assault.

The debris that falls from the ceiling blocks the pasage to the upper levels.

[Boo]

...So we're cut off from leaving? Or are we cut off from going forward?

[Darkcomet]

DC raises a hand at the rubble, trying to use his telekinetic powers to move enough of it out of the way to move forward.

[Ashen Lilies]

The drone attempts to melt the rubble blocking them passage. See? It all works out in the end!

Wait... What happened to the one cultist with the shield? Did she die as well?

[Draken]

You were cut from moving on, but now you are not anymore. Yay!

The cult leader was far away from the rubble, she is safely back there, inside her shield.

Reinforcing the rest of the ceiling with magic, while the rest of the cultists take arms and shoot a hail of crossbow bolts at you.

[Ashen Lilies]

Trusting DC to take care of the crossbow bolts, the drone is more concerned with putting a laser through each of the cultist's brains.

[Darkcomet]

DC simply looks at the hail of bolts, and raises a hand at them. A whole lot of them should freeze in midair, making it easier to avoid most of them.

Note that a lot of them seemed to be the ones directed around DC.

[Boo]

Antony is sitting behind DC, picking his toenails. Yes, that's what he's doing. What? You thought he'd contribute to the battle? Ha!

[Reinholdt]

"Ahhh! But...but... I just threatened you with fiery doom!" Reinholdt dives behind a nearby rock if any. Otherwise, he'll dive behind Antony, mostly cause the drone makes poor cover, and Comet is flying.

[Darkcomet]

Yeah, DC is floating. Not too high up, though. You actually expected him to be standing on his scorched leg?

[Draken]

The drone kills five of the twelve cultists before a nastier, castier one shoves two others aside and, with some gestures and a few particularly mean words, shoots a lightning bolt at the group.

The corridor is only 10 feet wide and about 15 feet tall.

You actually have nowhere to run from the bolt. Maybe up, but you can't actually run up can you?

[Ashen Lilies]

Fortunately for the drone, it can run up, and scuttles up the wall, firing its laser at the Lightning Cultist.

[Reinholdt]

Which means Reinholdt is going to take it. Especially since he was hiding behind Antony in the first place and doesn't see it coming. "Yeaarrrggghhh!!!" He fries quite a bit before falling on the ground. His fur is smoking, some of it now black, and all of it standing out. He's conscious, but probably wishes he wasn't. "Uh, now would be a great time to detonate the bomb Fanboy." Of course, Fanboy is nowhere to be seen.

[Darkcomet]

DC floats up to avoid the lightning. In other news, the crossbow bolts should now turn at the Lightning Cultist. They fly at the cultist.

Overkill, hell yeah.

[Draken]

The cultist is skewered by the bolts. Meanwhile, another two cultists barge in, aiming to impale DC in their spears.

The two charging cultists are then covered by an armor of magical, protective ice.

[Boo]

"Argh! Me arse!" Antony yells at the bolt hits him. "Wait a tick..." He holds up his pen, and lets out a smile. Seems like he'll be more useful now.

[Darkcomet]

The cultist is skewered by the bolts. Meanwhile, another two cultists barge in, aiming to impale DC in their spears.

The two charging cultists are then covered by an armor of magical, protective ice.

DC flies around, creating something of a comical chase scene. He tires of it, and tries to mind control one of them into attacking the other.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt works on slowly standing up and recovering himself. He moves himself carefully to the side of the entrance so he can get out of the way if another one comes, and leans against the wall to catch his breath.

[Ashen Lilies]

The drone scuttles along the ceiling, trying to sneak it's way past to the Leader.

[Draken]

Strangely. DC's mind control attempt is rerouted to Antony.

Another adept shows up, and shoots a ray of frost at DC.

Another two ice-clad cultists charge the people/cat/robot in the corridor.

The leader is still encapsulated in her protective sphere.

[Darkcomet]

Good thing Antony is mind control proof.

DC tries to fly behind Antony and use him as a shield against the ray of frost.

[Boo]

Funny, seeing as how mind control doesn't work on Antony.

Antony opens his bag, while running away from the enemies. He's not fast enough to take something out of his bag before being attacked, so he's doing the smart thing here.

EDIT: Right, well, he's hit by the ray of frost, making him useless again.

[Ashen Lilies]

The drone drops a rock on the cultist to see if the shield is of the solid, objects-simply-slide-off/can't-get-through sort or the vaporising sort.

[Reinholdt]

"Grr." Reinholdt says in frustration. Moving out of survival now, he quickly gets out of the way, aims his gun and tries to headshot the adept and shoot the ice-clad cultists in the knees in that order.

[Draken]

The shield is solid and the rock falls to the side.

Scum!

A cone of freezing, howling winds blasts towards the robot, who now risks being frozen in place.

Another adept dies. Part of the cultist's ice plating is chipped off.

[Ashen Lilies]

The robot is frozen in place, but quickly [attempts to] melt[s] it's way out.
It fires the laser at the Priestess.
