Just try. You'd never make it past the trials of wisdom and might, fire and ice, or even the trial of fetching me a cup of tea.

Besides, the bear traps usually take care of most people.

Trivial inconveniences. I've been through much worse in my time. Heck, on a daily basis I go through worse.

C'mon, you can do better than that.

At least, wrong regarding your intent.

In this day and age it's easy to find a person.
You have the internet to thank for that. Of course, unless I had help from ISP's, it wouldn't be so easy.

In all seriousness, if I came to the U.K, would you be willing to meet up with me?

Meh. As long as it wouldn't cost anything. I don't have any money see.

Also, no murdering me in my sleep. You hire profession ninjas like everyone else. You'd be hurting the ninja economy otherwise.

Why, why, why the wombat have I started dreaming in English, with people in them whose English is worse than my Danish (My Danish is very poor, in case you didn't know.), yet they still speak flawless English...

It's not that all my dreams are in English, no, the nightmares are still in Dutch, but all good dreams are in English, all moderately good dreams are in English, and even the sucky but it's not really bad dreams are in English.

    Why?

    WHY?

    WHY?

    Alright, I've finally risen.

This, "shipping" concept both horrifies and intrigues me, which is a common enough reaction on the internet to merit the creation of a new phrase for it.*

Anyone care to explain, thus saving me precious research time?

That I was aware of, but...how does it usually go down on these forums?

Eh, I'll just go look it up.

    EDIT: Oooo-kay.

See, when I lurked on the forums, I was a bit like a nonnative explorer on some strange continent. I would poke around, discover strange new tribes and cultures...but there were always some parts of the territory my every instinct told me was dangerous, perhaps even to the natives.

And now I've ventured into one of those areas.

...eh. It'll probably be just funny/creepy enough to merit its existence. And what do you know? I'm seized by Lovecraftia again.

    I echo PZ's sentiment about retaliation...though.

My fault. Well, 'ziras', but mainly my fault.

Y'see, back threeish Crush threads ago a joke arose. 'zira suggested shipping forum members.
I wrote one fic as a joke, which soon spawned two more fics which in turn gave rise to the Shipping thread. Now on its fourth thread.
We ship any Playgrounder who's given permission with any other (taking into account the no-go zones) Playgrounder or Other. This includes a rather memorable Cthulu/Curly ship.
Basically, we're the reason AMEN is running out of brain acid. But it's very fun to do. Check out our archive for furthr information on stuff.
You should give it a go. Great fun.
We also do Epics. I suggest I'm Sorry to Love You.

    EDIT:
    I love peppermint candy canes.

By all the muttering, vengeful gods in all the hells, those candy canes are the bane of my existence.

No joke. I loathe those things with a passion.

Hard to argue with the flavor, fair enough. Not awesome, not terrible. It's two factors that provoke my herculean rage:

1.) I have never once divested the cane, even partially, of the wrapper without breaking it. The canes are shrink wrapped with extremely little to get a purchase on. One's first instinct, of course, is to seize the little loose nub of plastic at the end. Of course, it's too small to get with the nails, so one resorts to the teeth. Already, this infernal candy device has brought you down to the level of a savage beast. Of course, put any strain on that part and the top cane snaps off, and when the cane finally does get out, it's half dust and fragments. Using a sharp implement to incise the wrapper is a fool's errand, and will result in further fractures.

Using the teeth in any way to take off the wrapper, especially the one above, will result in

2.) Rampant stickiness. Once I've finally dragged the broken carcass of the once-majestic cane from its diabolical wrappings, I must then consume it without coating my hands in tanglefoot goo. Even if no saliva has touched the cane yet, some form of moisture will somehow find it, and eating the cane will become an exercise in peeling shards of candy from your fingers.

Or maybe I just suck at eating candy canes. Which I am prepared to accept.

It is very much based upon him and was drawn after my weekend of constant watching of it (damn you Hulu for making me wait so long).
If you can find the time, try giving a read of the Cat-Muffinominicon (I think it's... a Nobody? Duhno). That apparently is made of awesome.

Which reminds, I keep wanting to do more work on that. Somebody send me a private message after Christmas to remind me.
I was thinking of doing a map of Catlantis. And maybe some about Religious Practices.
Or maybe do some Historical Artwork.
    Nothing but a Nobody
