Alex smiles when he finishes the song and he then moves on to the next

Alena smiles and curls up next to him, keeping one wing over him.

Alex strokes Alena's hair when he sings. He kisses her when he's finished, then sings another, a sound of guitars backs up this one.

Alena sighs happily, content to stay there forever.

[Fenric]

(( Forever? Maybe you should be turned into foxes... no... that would make Alex "Firefox", which is too horrible a pun to contemplate. ))

((she's waiting for him to carry her/teleport her to the room, otherwise she doesn't even want to move))

Alex finishes and strokes Alena's hair for a moment. He looks down at her "Another one?"

She sleepily murmurs, yes, please

Alex begins to sing

[Thes Hunter]

A small knock is heard at the door, and a man takes a timid step inside.

He is dressed in battered, dull armor and a cloak that looks much the worse for wear. By the fingerprint of stains on it, anyone who is observant would know that it once belonged to Thes. Actually the whole get up once belonged to Thes.


Actually the man is most likely Thes, albeit for the small thin, and obviously cheap fake mustache crudely taped to her upper lip.

He errr.... she looks around the room and pauses when she sees Alex Shipmaster and his immistakable flame red hair.

She then attempts to pretend she does not know him and tries to walk into the room with a smooth manner, but comes across as trying to awkwardly emulate the mannerisms of someone who sells various foodstuffs on sticks, and other slimy things for a living.

[Kyrian]

Myobi and Izumi look at the newcomer. Izumi is unimpressed, but Myobi laughs.

You do realize that we recognize people by scent, don't you?

Alena slowly dozes off.

[Thes Hunter]

Thes looks at Myobi with a stunned, deer in the headlights expression.

"But I don't stink, I bathed.......

Um... ahh.... ummm... well, anyway I don't stink.

She then realizes she has been forgetting to lower her voice, and begins again, this time with a much deeper tone.

"Oh... but I appear not to know you. Um... Who are you stranger.


She fidgets for a moment.

((But apparently it's a hell of a lot in terms of music....though being across the world from one another likely has it's influences on that as well...))

Myobi shakes her head

Thes: I can detect scents two million times better than a human. I can navigate a room in complete darkness by scent. I can tell who you are, how old you are, how you are feeling, what you are feeling, and quite a few more personal details that we'll not go into right now. I can do this just by being in the same room as you. Most of it I can tell for several hours after you leave the room. Several days if it is a still, enclosed room.

Alex finishes the song and notices that Alena is going to sleep. He kisses her "Come on sleepy head, off to bed we go"

Alena smiles and puts her arms around his neck.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex gently lifts her up "Comfortable?"

She nods a yes and carefully arranges her wings.

[Thes Hunter]

(( Blur is awesome. Been wanting to get more of their stuff for a while ))

Thes pauses and looks worried for a second. "Did you just call me.." she clears her throat "Some name? I don't know who that person is.", trying desperately to keep up the rouse.


But Thes does stink. She hasn't bathed in what you would guess to be well... years, perhaps decades. Expect for the occasional rain shower, or river crossing, Thes hasn't touched a bath, it messes up the humours ya know.

Thes right now is scared, worried, confused, sober, and this might be part of the confusion, and a little lost. Also she is missing someone, but Myobi already knew that.

[Fenric]

Myobi smiles

This isn't a place where being someone else will actually make a difference. But if it makes you feel better: What do you need... neighbour?

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex walks into the sanctuary from the gardens, he looks at Thes curiously and nods goodbye to Myobi "Night folks". He walks through the mirror into Trog's.

[Fenric]

Myobi and Izumi wave goodnight to Alex and Alena

[Thes Hunter]

"Need?

"I don't need anything." And she slumps down, and begins picking at the threads on her cloak, in a manner that says she most definitely needs something, but will not, or can not say exactly what that is.


She looks around and makes sure Alex has departed.

[Fenric]

Myobi sighs

Izumi, dear: why don't you go get some rest?

Izumi shrugs and walks away

There you go: we are alone. Now: are you going to tell me what's bothering you, or do I just save time and read your mind instead?
