So the first question I suppose I have is: would you prefer we skipped introductions and just put the party together immediately as if you'd basically just met Ramiro and Njal, or would you prefer something more organic? I can come up with vignettes for each person to orient you in the world, and we can take it from there if you wish, or it can just be a case of 'you all meet in a tavern at sunset and things start from there.'

Either way, it may also be worth indicating how frequently people can post. The pace here is not frenetic, but I would like to keep a certain momentum forward if only so recent history at least stays sort-of in mind. So. Over to you. What's your preferences here?

2. I spend an inordinate amount of time here on the forum. Whatever the pace, I should be able to keep up.

As for posting, as noted in the recruiting thread I'm in a heavy work crunch and life overall is not great. Realistically may be able to post a few times a week, but it'll be fairly thin to start out with.

I do have a background and life goals for Etti, just haven't had the mental bandwidth to write them out yet.

Cool, lots of different simultaneous strands! I haven't had to juggle like this since I left the old boards.theforce.net forums getting on 10 years ago - over there there's virtually no system-based RPGs, it's all freeform and frequently people going off in individual directions.

Either way, I know people are time-poor and we all went to get to the bits that refer to our characters ASAP (or don't want to spoil ourselves on what's happening in other parts of town our characters can't see) - so if people want a more quick, visible way of scrolling down to posts or sections that concern their characters, let me know - I can look at different colours for the sections that refer to your characters, for example.

I've seen worse, and on this forum! (We had these crazy commoner game where the five characters all ended up doing their own thing with only two of them in the same settlement and only four of them in the same extensive fief, with one of them on the way out with a load of fantasy drugs.)

I am still interested in actually getting Etti started, finally, but life and etc. continue to bear me down.

Also, I feel like I have to study to catch up on the lore and situate myself in the world. This isn’t in itself a negative, since I love the idea of entering a well-developed campaign setting…but in some corner of my mind it ends up being an obstacle.

So, so, so. Still very interested, but need a bit more time to spin up.
