There is a general unspoken consensus from the explorers as all run ahead of the wave of fire that pursues them, herding them towards the tunnel that appears to be more of a natural vent of smooth magmic stone rather an deliberate worked tunnel. Fleeing ahead of the flames all of you can feel briefly the flames brushing your heels but avoid the wall actually catching any of you
All take (1d4)[1] fire damage its gets within 20ft
Even as the wall of fire splashed against the entrance to your bolt hole a fresh wave for fire appears at the far end and rolls down the hallway over the space of some 6 seconds, followed by another and another, like a wave of raging infernos. But that can be a problem f the way out! The little gnome takes out from his pouch a small sooth grey orb in a velvet sack, as he lofts it into the air it floats and then glows a dull greenish blue as he pulls off the velvet bag. "Well my friends, that will make the way out more interesting eh? Unless we can find a way through in here."
Looking down thsi new path Graaf can see the room at the end is smallish and heavily inscribed with runes an hieroglyphic images of bat-like creatures feasting o humans and humanoids. Thedoor on the far side leading further south a strangely out of place block of pure, unadorned, unaltered iron.Thanks to Emperor Ing for the nice Avatar

Grauff will happily summon flying creatures to help us fight the enemies that are likely ahead of us once we know what we're fighting, using Summon Nature's Ally spells. Many of my other prepared spells won't really help down here...
