Grum chugs down both vials for a total of 7 healing.

"Dead people own no things. Not hers. You didn't take. I needed. Now I has. Freedom if kill son. Queenie say I eat too much. I make prince dead and I get stampy, too."

Grum looks at the strange beast and then slowly shrugs. "Aye well. Ye be careful with them. " he'll suggest before eying the weird beast. "So if you are to help me with the death of the Prince what can you be doing? Can ye fight? Do ye throw spells?"

She simply raises the sword and bow. "These my magic."

Grum pauses looking at the strange beast, then resigned with the already experienced horror and misery of this realm of the dead shrugs. ”Aye, ye be coming then?”
That said he’ll stomp through the entrance hall and start heading to the stairs, axes in hand as he will cautiously head upstairs towards where the door to the princes chambers were

Grum climbs down the ladder, leaves the small area to the courtyard .... then across and into the main hall and up the large stairs to the second level .... then to the south side of the keep along the southern passage leading to the door where Prince Uspid and his tooth fairy sycophants are. Now what?

Grum pauses outside the door for a second, a glance at the strange snake before he speaks. "I nae be talking to these fools. Straight in and wreak mayhem aye?" That said he embraces Gorums' blessing as he considers the art of war and then prays for divine favour before kicking open the door

Surprise Round ...

Knowing that his voice in prayer would be heard on the other side of the room, Grum prepares for immediate combat immersion and prays to Gorum for luck in battle. Gorum returns the favor with not only luck, but inspiration of how to deliver a crushing blow. As he does this, Jalanlagonis gets into a stylized stance for stealth and opens the door for Grum, despite trying to hide as much as possible to the side. In opening the door, Grum sees Prince Uspid at his desk with two tooth fairies flitting about.

Begin Round One ...

R1T25: Prince Uspid smirks, reading the situation instantly. He waves his hand, and the door closes again.

R1T17: Grum, what do you want war mind to go to this round? What do you do?

Grum snarls, "Ye smiling scum" as he hurls the door back open, stepping into the opening and using the akashic power to send his axe flitting across the room at the smirking tooth fairy!

R1T17: Grum snarls, "Ye smiling scum," as he hurls the door back open, stepping into the opening and using the akashic power to send his axe flitting across the room at the smirking tooth fairy, striking him in the belly for 19.

R1T16: Jalalangonis concentrates briefly before she is suddenly garbed in a suit of what appears to be the hide of a lion that fits her relatively alien form. She darts in next to Grum and shoots at the only flying tooth fairy it can see (Green), hitting it for 1 mod.

R1T6: Green concentrates while floating towards the ceiling. Grum resists sleepiness.

R2T16: Jalanlagonis adjusts her monopedal stance and then disappears from her spot, only to immediately reappear next to the prince, quick drawing Helena's longsword and slashing across the monarch's upper right arm for 5 mod.

R2T6: Green takes the long way around the road and closes on the snake-woman, but she is ready and strikes the tooth fairy in the head for 3 mod.

End Round 2, Begin Round 3 ...

R3T25: The Prince tries to concentrate on something, but Jalanlagonis' threatening presence causes him to fluster.

R3T20-18: Blue and Red dive bomb Jalanlagonis to protect their monarch. She gives a wild swing that throws her off-balance against one, but recovers to give a nasty gut slash to Red for 10 mod + disabled (+1d4 bleed). She fends off their attacks, and Red falls to the ground from the effort.

Grum grins happily as his fairy drops then blink in surprise at the snake like being teleporting around. With a slow footfall the dwarf stalks towards the prince and launches a single devastating blow at the obese fairy's skull!

R7T25: The Prince smacks Grum in the left knee for 9 with his scepter, then snaps at him with a bite.

R7T17: Ignoring the blow to his knee and stepping across the dead and dying tooth fairies Grum advances to the Prince, a grim ”Yer palace killed her. Ye have to die,” before he chops again at the beast, his war mind just carrying his blow to success as he strikes the Prince dead.

Jalanlagonis (and probably a pained an impassioned Grum) finish off the dying tooth fairies.

Grum stamps up and down a few times on the dead prince’s remains and looks at the strange snake like creature. ”Aye, my thanks for the help. But that felt good aye.” Looking through the carnage he pauses for a minute or so to search for magic and looks for any obvious bits of the Prince to take back to the Queen.

The prince had a wrought-iron scepter studded with teeth and a key, but nothing else here is of value.

Jalanlagonis nods. "Yes, you had anger-passion to breathe."

Grum grabs up the sceptre and then looks at Jalanlagonis. "Aye anger passion ye say. Plenty o'that" Hefting the toothy stick he nods to the door. "Shall we head back to see the Queenie aye?" and will then head back towards the Queen in her high tower. He'll keep an axe in hand he goes, walking warily on the look out for any tooth fairies as he heads back before making the long climb and bridge walk back towards the Queen's chamber.

One the way back up, Jalanlagonis sets the gear down by Helena's body so that upon entering the queen's throne room, she is once again without any equipment, and stands behind Grum as he presents himself.

The queen asks in her otherworldly, creepy-fat way, "Present you proof of my son's defeat?"

Grum looks at the Queen somewhat disgusted at her excitement about the murder of her son and throws the toothy sceptre onto the floor with a loud clatter. ”Aye ‘highness’ that be his sceptre not much else else left o’him” he adds

He does nod to Jalanlagonis “Me thanks to the wee snake man, the help were good.”

"Very well," says the Queen gleefully. She takes a large ass' jawbone from near her and inks a document with the empty tooth holes of the jawbone. She concentrates, and the document floats over to Grum, who can pluck it out of the air. "You may both go. Thank you for the service you have given me. Fare well on the roads."

Grum looks at the Queen and the stamp and then nods. ”Aye that be it. I need tae rest highness, with your leave I be resting in the gatehouse then be moving on.” He won’t offer much more than that as he looks at the Queen before shaking his head.

“Ye be coming Jalanlagonis?” He will invite, “I do be the on a journey, it ends in my death or my escape to the mortal realms.”

The queen nods as you leave and Jalanlagonis follows. As you make your way down (after Grum's new friend re-equips herself from Helena's gear), Jalanlagonis says, "No bed. No fed. Why we stop?"

Grum looks at the snake and shakes his head. "I'm tired. I've lost friends. If ye not be tired then ye can keep watch whilst I sleep and recover. I be healing and recovring my wits and chanelling me power for the veils that i wear"

If the snake follows Grum will go one of the guard rooms where the bone cobra had been and crudely barricade the doors and try and sleep and rest

"NO, not this room," says Jalanlagonis. "Cushion sofa for comfort in prince-room. You no eat, but at least you sleep proper."

Grum looks about and then nods, "Aye ye be right" he agrees and heads inside up towards the Prince's room to have a rest
