That leaves Max and Liliana. Are you getting lifted to the roof and going in through the window, staying outside, going in a different way...?

Tick 1. Though Benoojian can of course post and say he's doing something at any time, I'm not pausing the game to wait for Max until he's actually heard something; the running guy is not loud enough to be heard anywhere but on the second floor, yet.

    Ok New plan.

Ok I screwed this up and obviously I will also screw up the combat. Given my luck no way I will win.

    But that is ok.

Julian is going to wrestle the guy maybe silence him ,probably not, and when things go south is going to grab some random valuable and make a run for it. They are aggressive and paranoid they will follow some masked thug that obviously might even be a supernatural threat. If I can lead a bunch of them away that should give you the opening you need.

Julian kicking the guy to the floor and grabbing him while silencing him to then talk:

    Dex (5) + Brawl (3) + 1 Automatic success

    (8d10)[2][6][6][10][10][3][5][1](43)

If the description kick to the ground counts as a one die stunt:

Okay, spending Willpower for one more success that's 5 threshold successes if it's Unarmed (Heavy) (and should have rolled one more accuracy die if it's Light so calling it Heavy), for raw damage of 10, and this guy's an extra with a soak of 2, so he takes 2 levels of bashing damage.

That is a lot of durability extras have. I'd normally wait until after the current scene to discuss house rules, but that could slow things down a lot, which is also the opposite of White Wolf's stated intent.

Any objections to immediately implementing the house rule briefly discussed earlier, that Epic Strength successes are added to post-division raw damage when attacking extras in melee?

Liliana is going to trust that those skilled at scrapping will do just fine without her bumbling into the fight, and will continue her check for alternate entrances/exits to make sure our target doesn't dip out.

I did assume he wasn't going to run headlong into my fist yeah, I also assumed diagonal movement cost 2 not 1, I also misread dash as once during the 3 ticks instead of once per tick. In other words I was very wrong.

Multiple actions: activating a Birthright Connection relic (Miscellaneous, Speed 5, DV -0?) and Clinch (Attack, Speed 6, DV -1) final Speed of 6 final DV penalty of -1? Not going to use Fierce Blow or double attack because I don't want to accidentally kill this person (and for the same reason, am doing Bashing damage with this clinch despite having the Knack that allows Lethal).

Is it too late to Pull that blow a little? Unless that thrall rolls extremely well on their opposed (Str or Dex) + Brawl, she's in real trouble. (I should have crunched the numbers in advance to know Brand would on average be landing a deadly blow, but I think Brand would be experienced enough to know better).

Pulling the blow some is fine. The clinch does hit, and she doesn't get to grapple you back until your next action.

Alright, grapple connects. I chose the Crush option, naturally. Let's see if I can hit the sweet spot of "unconscious but not dead".

Do I get the threshold successes from my grapple check added to the raw damage, as though that were the attack roll? I'll assume not for now.

These guys are extras right? So the raw damage is 1 + 5 Str + 0 Weapon (Clinch) = 6 before (possibly) threshold successes or Epic Str. Piercing, too, if she has any armor we haven't spotted.

Yes, they are extras, and no, no damage from threshold successes when initiating a grapple. Dividing the raw damage by 3 and adding your Epic Strength after that, you can apply 4 damage to her soak--I'm guessing you're not going to choose to reduce it as there's no way any of that could be lethal (if she has a Stamina of 1, she'll be Incapacitated).
