I wanted to do neutral recruitment, but the risk/reward analysis didn’t come up great. I’m too used to Neutrals just being townies.

Honestly, I can't remember being neutral before this so I was excited. I kinda didn't want to help town. At first just because I needed to live long enough to be confident in my victory. Then it felt like only a few were making headway and I was like "Welp. I'll tell them what I think and go from there." Nobody even asked me to elaborate on why I had full confidence Aventine was town. They just killed him. Shame. I felt really clued in to people's alignments this time (at least when I tried. I didn't put any effort into Blade after day one) but maybe it just felt more reasonable because I didn't really have to worry about a lynch or night kill once people started believing me.

Tbh I left you alive just so you could win. I would've contacted you but killing Cao would've honestly ruined what little cover I had.

I needed to shield myself because Aventine got wise to my strat.

Well, the last Day make so much more sense now. I guess the balance works out (town had 2 Days for mislynches) but dang that's rough. We basically needed gac on our side (which he was) and with Day 2 being taken up by two inactives it was gonna be an uphill battle.

Well. Four wolves? Ouch. That gave town basically zero margin for error.

Also I officially cannot read bladescape and will never trust him again.

I might not have survived it but at least my first wolfy game ended in victory. Good enough.

My personal favorite moment was Cao giving me some slight towncred for pointing out that we didn't know for sure gac was honest when I was probably the only player who knew with 100 percent certainty that he was. On a related note, I was really amused by how confident gac was about being immune to my power when I had successfully used it on him already.

EDIT: As far as four wolves go, it's a little rough. 8v1v4 is a viable game for town if they can work with the Medium, and the Medium's selective immunity was immunity to town's scry and immunity to wolf's coordination. Admittedly, both of those ended up having workarounds I hadn't considered, but neither particularly mattered because town ended up working with the Medium anyway and neither of those players even tried to target them.

Hm.... I forgot that was answered... So I was immune to the town scry equivalent but not the wolf scry equivalent. So it wasn't like you are immune to all versions of X but rather you are immune to X and Y.

I had been refreshing the page, awaiting results from my power for day 2, but then I stepped away that Friday apparently just before the day started. Then when I returned on Monday I found I was dead. I wish I had taken some time that weekend to just, come and post a bit. That's on me. Though my scry result would have likely ended up with me or Murska (whom I scried) - getting killed earlier. Though I will contest that my scry result/getting lynched results are timestampped less then 48 hours apart.

Having 1/3 of the players as wolves, in a game where 1/2 needs to be for them to win, is a tough hill to climb though. Well done for the conversations and arguements. I did not have Bladescape pegged as a wolf. I did sus Xihirli, only cause I got to look at the QT between Xi and Gac and Murska (but I was dead at that point, so....bleh.)

I will say that the game could have gone very very differently if Emmy had stayed in and Supagoof popped his head in before dying to say "by the way I'm the seer and Murska is innocent". Without either...it was pretty rough.

Could be, true, but it would still be another day of things - like, D5 would've been 2v1v2 instead of 1v1v2 where town's only chance at success is winning two coin tosses with the last wolf throwing away guaranteed victory because it's funny.

Well, in this game Xi pretty much just reminded everyone that even when she doesn't seem very wolfy, she probably is a wolf. So you might not get lynched until D2.

One of my favorite parts was I started my first chat with my top wolf (cape) and top town (blade) and almost overnight decided to flip those reads as they said stuff in the chat. Then I ignored the two of them for pretty much the whole game when it comes to trying to get a read on them.

I seem to be getting wolf a LOT since the game's revival. In the rare instances where I am town I try to act as suspiciously as possible as I've gone over because I am not good at acting not suspicious. It's a trade-off.

In my entire time here, not counting crazy idea Mafia, I think this might be my first time as a neutral and I think I've only ever been a wolf once.

Based on my rather limited experience, I seem to be going the other way. My first two games I was town, which made me wish to try something else and apparently some genie was listening since the following three games ended up as neutral, cult and wolf.

And that is why I always start off with putting suspicion on you. In the rare event you are town, you still try to act suspiciously and not help town as much as you could.

Rude. I think the game before this one is a pretty good example of me being helpful to town and suspicious at the same time.
