Because Eric is awesome. The surprise reunion between Roy and Eric was easily the most touching moment in the entire comic.

In a more perfect OOTS-verse, Eric would have lived and become the bard Roy predicted of him. My original Eric avatar started out as a 'what-if' and I ended up running with it.

Great characterization. When the characters can surprise you without feeling like they've broken character, that's when you know it's a good one.

Kind of a precursor to Warmachine with the focus on fewer models, but with its own flavor. Interested?

Favorite author's a hard one. My standard answer is generally, "Of course not! There's too many good ones!" but if I really think about it, I can narrow it down a bit. Martha Wells and Jane Lindskold both have some seriously amazing work; I've yet to read anything by them that didn't take my breath away. And I've always been a fan of Tamora Pierce--her recent Provost's Dog trilogy has got to be her best yet (even my dad loved it!).

I haven't read any novels in a couple of months. Too much school reading! But the last one was The Cloud Roads by Martha Wells. Before that was the Griffin Mage series by Rachel Neumeier, which was incredible; I haven't read anything else by her yet but I'm looking forward to more in the future!

Pretty similar to the way it is now, I guess. I've found it to be an very welcoming, accepting place, which is so rare to find on the internet. That's why I joined and it's still the case now. That would be favorite thing about it, too!
