Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
Would anyone be willing to do a group shot of four people (in Oots style)? I would like the whole shot to be sort of like someone took a family photo.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Characters in the group:
1. Dragonborn; Male; Paladin; Silver scales, average height, a tail (even though technically, Dragonborn don't have tails, mine have them due to an artistic failure that just stuck), wearing heavy armor and a mace at his side; Positioned in the center, looking serious and like he did not want to be in the picture.
2. Minotaur; Male; Swordmage/Runepriest; very tall, light brown fur, medium armor, giant sword on his back (yeah, I know it is actually impossible to remove a giant sword that is on your back, but it still looks cool), positioned to the right of the Dragonborn, grinning, arm around the shoulders of the Dragonborn, not very threatening looking.
3. Shardmind; Psion; Also tall, thin, greenish crystals, it's "eyes" glow, some crystals floating around him, no armor, positioned to the left of the Dragonborn, staring blankly at the Shifter on the far right.
4. Razorclaw Shifter; Male; Ranger; very small, brownish orange fur, wild hair, leather armor, carries a bow and quiver behind him, positioned on the far right, next to the Minotaur, scowling fiercely at the Shardmind.
(I am not trying to make this overly complicated, I am just giving enough details to give an artist a good idea of what to make, feel free to do whatever with the basic concept. Anyone up for the challenge?)In DnD you find a lot about people. I found out that my friends are willing to let someone die in order to salvage and sell the arrow piercing his chest.

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
To celebrate the forum's new look, I'd like a Squall Leonhart (Disidia) avatar.
Spoiler: Reference
Gender: Male
Equipment: Gunblade, Clothes that defy simple descriptions.
Diagonal scar on forehead.
Hair: Brown.
Race: Human
Class: From a classless game, but his fighting style says Spellthief.
Pose: Same as reference if possible.
I hope that's not an unreasonable request.

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
I am new and would be interested in getting a custom avatar. In particular I am looking for an OOTS-style David Icke/Illuminati conspiracy-style reptoid alien(basically just a typical lizard man) with dragon wings in a black, hooded robe set against a background with the infamous pyramid with the eye on the top symbol(As seen on the dollar bill).. If you need references, just ask and I can provide them...
Does anybody think they could tackle my request?Last edited by Ryu the Reptoid; 2014-04-01 at 07:52 AM.

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
Sorry, I should have been more clear about what I'm looking for. I was hoping for an avatar that's essentially identical to the ones I have except for the season. See how all of them are traced from Bradakhan's original?
I do love the alterations you've done, though.

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
Okay. I have an experimental idea. If it's dumb and you don't think anyone will do it, let me know and I'll go sit in the naughty corner, or whatever.
I would like an artist to create a character that they feel is suited to this piece of music. Any character at all. Man, woman, civilian, adventurer, fantasy, spaghetti western, steampunk, whatever. The limit is your imagination. I would like to use that character as my avatar. I place only one restriction on you; I'd like the character to be human (or, at least, humanoid).
Anyone up for it?

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
I could try to give it a stab, but you'd probably have to be very patient with me since I have no clue when it comes to how the equipment looks and such. You'd have to describe the character from top to bottom - and then have me doing my best to create that. ^^
Are some equipment more essential than others? Feel free to describe everything, but pictures in avatar size tend to come out badly if they're too crammed with accessories, so I'll try to only prominently feature the most essential bits.

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
Gender: Male
Equipment: Studded leather armor, headband, a spell component pouch, and a shortsword (yellow-glowing if unsheathed).
Notable features: Hollow cheekbones, wrinkles around the eyes, generally looks roughed up.
Hair color: Yellowish-brown
Race: Elf
Class: Cleric
Pose you would like your avatar to be in: Facing to one side in some sort of combat pose (sword may be sheathed or unsheathed), in the process of casting a spell with a yellow magical aura.
Most of all, I'd appreciate it if the avatar could be done in the new OotS style of colored-in limbs. Thanks in advance

if anyone is up for a challenge, I have a request: a hamster tied to the belly of a pterodactyl, preferably in flight and smiling(the hamster, not the pterodactyl).

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
Ah, See I start from scratch every time, mainly because....
1: I've drawn a total of maybe 7 Avatars.
2: I start from scratch every time.
2a: Reason being I'm getting a lot better than when I first started.
3: I fade in and out of drawing so I dont burn myself out.
Someday I'll draw quick awesome Avatars... Until then, I'm going to continue to be awful and slow ^^.
