It could be lighting- but the lizardman does look different- more "brown-green" than the "mint-green" shade of Gannji.

I'm not so sure about belkar dying just yet. Now that he stole the other guys bread, he has entered another part of the game we call civila- *hm* society, but as his hallusinations told him to, Deaths lil' helper has taken a new approach: he cheats instead of not playing. So all i can say is: this is going to be interesting

I rather doubt it, I don't think Belkar will be killed for a cheap joke about gladiator movie clichés. In Belkars Word, more plot essential characters than [the gladiator guy] have tried and failed.
