Well we got gods, feats, maneuvers and spells, and now apocalyptic horrors, all we are missing is a bunch of powers for the World of Playgroundia. This needs to be a thing.

Honestly it isnt that hard either as its mostly fluffy stuff. Hell lets do this after PrCs then this setting will have everything

It'd be interesting, due to the number of Rudisplorkers' Guild, guild members. To see how many variants of Rudisplorking Monsters, or even Rudisplorking Dragons would be made.
I'd personally enjoy being statted as an Undead creature more than a Dragon, Dragon would still be cool though.

If we end up doing PrC or Archetype, I have one sketched out already for the first PoW Writer that requests one.

In other news, finally found my Vestige for Emperor Tippy, so I'll be posting that soon.

    So it would seem.

Oh, to whet the appetite... the PrC is a 3-level deal meant for any martial Adept, and the Archetype can be placed onto ANY INITIATOR CLASS, specifically including initiating archetypes of other classes.

If you want to write stats for these things, they can take epic feats and have specific Elder Evil traits, but that's not OGL so I can't replicate that for you here. Just write "Elder Evil Traits" or use the abomination ones. A cool drawing would be cool, too.

    I've thought this through thoroughly.
    • My Detect Evil never pings him as evil.
    • He respects the law.
    • He had never done anything evil in front of me.
    • Whenever I try to sense motive, he always seems honest.
    • He offers to go on road trips.

He used to ping as evil, but I think I've converted him. He also started wearing this funny ring that makes him all kinds of gray when I detect evil. I'm sure it's a coincidence.

    Edit:
Also, aren't we all technically evil in this thread?

...WELL THEN. In the words of Emma Bartholemeo Bark, "Permission: granted."
    Twisted Bark: The first Hero

    Background

Everybody knows legends start with a villain and end with a hero. And everybody knows te hero will overcome the villain and end his reign of terror.

But. That's not all. Little do people know that their hero is often controlled by powers greater then he. Rather then the king of the game, he is the pawn. The players are often not so noble after all. Often, the hero of one story often becomes the black knight of the next game. (Knowledge(History) DC=25)

And where power flows, sacrifices must be made. The first hero got promoted to dark knight and that should have been the end to it. or so most people thought. Instead of being struck down by the next generation's exemplar of good he feigned death and went on a trip to search his role in this world. (Knowledge(History) DC=35).

Twisted Bark turned into a stranger to everyone. With only the boon of immortality left the hero, turned villain, turned stranger went to wander and ponder the working of the world. Until he found a mountain next to a chasm, and started climbing the mountain. identity long lost, the climb took ages. When he finally reached the top, he found a table. The table was built like a carbon copy of the world. (Knowledge(Religion) DC 45)

The Table of Destiny, as it was called, had a list of figures discarded to the side. Two of those figures he recognised: A white likeness of his heroic adventure, and a darker figure cut like him, during his time as a ruler. He also found discarded figures of the person that usurped his throne and many others. On a nearby rock he found carving tools and halfway finished 'heroes' and 'villains'. As Twisted Bark looked at the figures a burning rage took him. He smashed the figures and laid waste to the tools. Until his rage cooled and he saw an opportunity open before him. Instead of the piece he would now become the player. Now through dark and evil machinations he turns noble men and women to darkness, only to inspire suffering in the world, by creating suffering and hope in an endless circle of torment. (Knowledge(Religion) DC 60)

    Signs

You either die a hero, or see yourself become the villain
As the signs manifest heroic deeds will become greater and greater, but the heroes will turn to villains at their point of victory.

Faint: The faint sign will empower adventurers on a quest for good. Everyone on a quest or geas, while carrying it out, will enjoy a +1 morale bonus to saves and charisma checks and skills.

Moderate: Upon completion of the quest the hero will start feeling restless. Unless the hero accepts a new quest immediately, the hero will gain a -2 penalty to initiative and wisdom checks and skills. While not on a quest the hero's morale bonus will turn to a penalty.

Strong: As Twisted Bark's influence grows, the restlessness will turn to a hunger. This hunger will turn any quest into a geas where the hero must continue acquiring more power. Faint whispers of doubt will start influencing the heroes justifying the sacrifice of innocents for the greater good. This mind affecting effect is unblockable through spells as Mind Blank et.al.

Overwhelming: the hero's hunger for power makes them do horrible things. Innocent sacrifices are made on a whim, as long as the hero can grow in power for the greater good. Evil artefacts will be used by heroes to try and defeat evil and topple tyrants. Heroes will see themselves as the right choice to take over such positions, only to be slain by the next hero that comes along.

    Malefic Property

    Plausible Deniability
the presence of Twisted Bark twists the mind of nearby heroes. Through his long life Twisted Bark has learned to deflect moral and ethical accusations and convince others that he is doing the right thing. Anyone who approaches Twisted Bark will come under his charming influence as if targeted with a Charm Monster (DC=15+Twisted Bark's HD+Twisted Bark's Cha modifier) as an extraordinary effect

    Tactics

Rather to fight himself as he did once Twisted Bark loves to pit heroes against one another. If his visitors fail their save he will use them as his agents in the world to set more heroes and villains on their paths. If they do make their save he uses his agents or his collection of ancient artefacts to slay the heroes and continue his plan.
