Re: Bibliography
Okay, here's my post on them from the first page deciphered.
Moon: Well that's obviously the Lunar Codex.
Eye: Again, obvious. The All-seeing Eye Codex.
Cross: Angelic Codex.
Bat: Vampire Codex.
Water Drop: Water Codex.
666: Devil Codex. Though it may be something else.
Lightning Bolt: Lightning Codex.
Hourglass: Time Codex.
Hexagram: Ritual Codex. Though a Suleiman Codex would be pretty cool.
Tree: Floral Codex.
Ghost: Poltergeist Codex.
Insect: Insectoid Codex.
Bull Head: Beast Codex.
Now, this was all thought out when only the first chapter was out. Now, I can see some other ones I can guess at.

Re: Bibliography
True. I'll edit the E since some of your guesses look more right, ie Alien vs Insect. And I never saw the 6's....hmmm. Good spot.

Possible, but I was more thinking of Defensive applications than summons personally.

Fanservice meat shields? I can dig it! And so can Dorukon, a Page of the Sealed Codex.
Whoever did the description (and thought to put the extra pic of Eve in) did a great job. Looks awesome!Last edited by Jokasti; 2010-05-10 at 09:09 PM.

Re: Bibliography
Shouldn't Chapter 2 really be Chapter 1, seeing as the previous chapter was Chapter i, Index?

Re: Bibliography
I'm making links on other pages to Bibliography. Otherwise, no one's going to find it.
Whoops, never mind.
Also, would Bibliography go under Notable Fantasy Comics? Not many people know about it yet.Last edited by Maximum Zersk; 2010-05-11 at 06:14 PM.

Re: Bibliography
Sorry for the double post, but I think I noticed one, possibly two Shout Outs.
Here. "Punk'd ended back in 2007!"
Also, CG might be a Shout Out to Mahou Sensei Negima.

Re: Bibliography
Just dropped in here to say that Chapter 5 is halfway done. The pencilling stage is complete and the inking's just beginning. Unfortunately my computer has been having problems and so I may have to get it fixed, which possibly means a delay. Not for long, though.
I really like what you guys are doing with the TvTropes page. It's really interesting to see what kind of tropes you guys are finding here. Some of them were intentional, others less-so.

Re: Bibliography
I'm still not getting it, but while skimming through the 1st chapter, I noticed this.
First panel. My, my, my, foreshadowing is best when you don't see it.

Re: Bibliography
Elagune, just want to ask:
The first two pages have different art than all the rest. I remember you saying you draw those by hand, but why are all the others so different? Did you give up and went back to the computer?
EDIT: I always knew there was something bothering me with the last page, and know I know what it is! Why the heck is Ben's fingers grown together?Last edited by Cizak; 2010-05-12 at 12:13 PM.

Re: Bibliography
Well, actually the first three pages were done before I settled on a style. The first two pages were done entirely with pencil, which took way too much time. The third page was done with shading, which I felt didn't really add anything - and if I wanted to make it so that it did add something, it would also take quite a while. I might go back and redo it at some point.
Ben's fingers are grown together due to a birth defect that only appears every 4 chapters. It's very tragic.

Re: Bibliography
I dunno if you take requests, Elagune, but if you'd got the time and want to, could you make me an avatar Optic Knight with an ocular blade? Understand if you're too busy, though.

Re: Bibliography
I was actually thinking about making a set of avatars for Bibliography actually. I just wasn't sure if anybody was going to use them, which is why I held off. Well, if there's an audience for it, then sure.
It'll have to wait until I get my other computer back, though. It's in the shop right now.
