Explicit Sexual Content and other stuff
As per topic title.
What exactly is considered an Explicit Sexual Content? How far is still within the rules, and how far is actually breaking those? Same with the the Graphical Violence.
The reason of asking? To ensure that during the writing of responses in the games on forum the line is not crossed by accident.
Also, about the drugs rule... is it just about talking about regular drugs or are even any mentions of addictions or fantasy drugs or such not allowed?"If you can't slam with the best, then jam with the rest" - Charles Barkley

Re: Explicit Sexual Content and other stuff
Sheriff: We're not going to try to delineate the exact limits of those rules. The limit has colloquially been described as PG-13, but keep in mind that even this standard is not precise. For one thing, it applies to motion pictures, where one of the key factors is whether the content is "fleeting" - a thing not really present in a message board context.
Err on the side of caution. If you think it may be inappropriate, please don't post it. Please don't go searching for the line. Post what you need to post for your game and, knowing the rules exist, moderate or omit anything you think might be problematic. There's a common PbP concept, "fade to black," where the conduct can be alluded to vaguely with the details left up to the reader to fill in.Last edited by Roland St. Jude; 2019-08-22 at 09:32 AM.
