If you choose random, I will determine a random arena, and weather conditions.
If you choose to let me decide, I will do so.

Either that or people roll 1d20+dex mod and see who wins. It varies from person to person.

I thought that you took simultaneous actions, and that all actions done by either player would resolve at the same time.

That seems rather more complex than it has to be.

Not really, it's fairly easy to handle. You just each declare your actions, and they're handled as normal unless they involve order, in which case it's a fairly obvious DM ruling most of the time.

We have the same modifier, and he has highest Dex, so we're going with that. Also, add your 2 spoiler tagged buff rounds.
