And done for another year. Knackered now.

Forgot the Secret Documents AGAIN; now, after last time, I'd very carefully left them in exactly the same place so that if I did it again, I knew exactly where they were.

So of course, my sister had carefully moved them - to somewhere in plain sight, but of course, I didn't look there because I went straight to where I'd left them... Queue frantic search, fruitlessly, giving up, spotting the on the way back on-stage and then telling the audience They Saw Nothing...



Neither of my mates made it, and not a peep out of either of them (they are the only two of my mob that even distantly bothered) - one I know at last count was bringing only 1/4 kids because the others had got chicken pox (so I assume related issue), but heard nothing after that, and nowt from my other mate. Kinda a little bit depressing, really - and that's tickets we didn't sell.

Considering that Equestria Girls is apparently going to continue after FiM ends and that Gen 5 is set to go just after this(and is likily to appealto the same things as Gen 4 dueto Gen 4 brinigng in a huge market/audience) andthat this is just the generic MLP thread, not an FiM thread... This thread will only stop when the regulars in it get bored with it.

Is that actually confirmed, though? G5 ponies jumpstarting off afte FiM ends? I was thinking more in terms of 'sometime earlyish-midish 2020s'. I'm not sure how I feel about that. On the flipside it's going to have a larger consumer base... but not exactly a huge amount of time contemplating how they're going to grow their brand.

It took years of concept drawing and thinktanking amidst showrunners to make MLP a hit with charming characters and dynamics.

question though is: 2(maybe 3 episode) finale or epic 1/2 to full season long story?
maybe kidnaps Flurry in opener and destroys elements about same time and they have to figure out how to reconstitute them and avoid getting slaved over the course of the season as more and more of their friends fall to Sombra?

Meh, seems like his M.O. in any case is exactly that--slaves (out of ponies) and crystals (shattering the tree). I'm not feeling the hype just yet.

To Where and Back Again was the last season finale that I really loved, because it focused on other characters being the heroes. In addition, Chrysalis has been reoccurring for a while now (without redemption) and she did try to steal the elements off the tree once, so I'd argue she's a better antagonist to end the series on. Hmm, I shouldn't get too far ahead of myself. I mean, Chrysalis could shape-change to look like Sombra as a way of throwing off the heroes and she has mind-control magic too. Such a bait-n-switch wouldn't be bad at all...

(I also had another stab at Cities: Skylines, got as far as hitting metropolis for the first time, then had a massive, massive population crash which tanked everything to the point I would likely be sitting watching the screen for another hour or two before being able to do anything and once again wondering whether all the people I see made cities on the interwebs play some way I don't.)

Eh, it's interesting enough if you're interested in stories about dystopian police states, but really the best thin g to come from the vent is that since 99% of the X-Men havebeen shifted to an alterate reality and are missing and presumed dead is that Logan and Scott(the real ones, not time duplicates or AU versions) are fianlly workingtogether again instead of irrationally hating each other for whatever reason.

(And honestly, Nate Grey going insane and deciding that he was a God was inevitable considering his power and upbringing...Though like 99% of X-Mnen things this probably isn't gonna leak into the main universe even though logicially speaking it should.)
