I have a final exam tomorrow and two on the 10th, and I haven't even had a chance to put my initial ideas to paper screen. Looks like I'm going to have to miss this one.

Aaaand, I'm spent. I'm mostly very happy with how it turned out. The spell list could probably use a bit more tinkering, but that's really not too big a deal. It's certainly more than servicable as is.
Hope I got the revelry mechanic right. It feels much better, but it's so very different from what I first had in mind that I'm not sure I can judge it objectively.
Mostly though, I'm just glad to have gotten it finished and submitted. It's a moral victory for me, if nothing else

Speaking of threads for my classes...can anyone with a bit of 4e knowledge take a look at this? I'm doing a 4e version of all my prestige classes just for the hell of it, and I'd love opinions.

I work in the realm of swords and superhumans, not mages and monsters.

(although a few monsters are good to go, shapeshifters are a special liking of mine...)

Psylocke, Professor X, Jean Gray, and Phoenix all have Psionic-Like Abilities.

Storm, Magneto, Static, Iceman, Jubilee, and Green Lantern all have powers that borderline Magic.

Psions are mages in my book.

In superhumans I mean things every human can do that is taken beyond the edge, wolverine is the prime marvel example of a superhuman.



I favor the "true nonmage" classes for a base (fighter, monk, knight, rouge, barbarian etc...)

Weird though...I favor playing casters, but favor building noncasters.

By martial arts, what do you mean? Unarmed kung fu fighting types, or those who use things to hurt other people with said things? New contest will be up today, but as there seems to be interest in a more martial themed contest this time, I may go with what people are itching for instead of what I was thinking.

i left that open on purpose, though i wouldn't be offended if you or others wanted to narrow it down more.

owing to the fact that in real life, many martial art forms stress both armed and unarmed combat, i like the idea of keeping it open, or of even making a class that must be a master of both armed and unarmed.

This is a class contest for martial characters; they can be martial adepts from the Tome of Battle, psychics, incarnum wielders, etc. Contest will go to the end of January!

Well, warrior classes are so open anyhow, I dunno. I'm thinking of removing the unarmed section, or saying it has to be a more secondary/tertiary element of the class. I do primarily want folks who wield weapons to do awesome stuff beyond just Strikers and Defenders (which are fine!!!). I'd love to see some Leaders and especially some Controllers from the martial side of things.

This looks like fun. I've got an idea for a feat based prestige class, similar in concept to the Swiftblade. Instead of building on a spell, the prestige class will advance the use of a single feat.

Right now I'm considering using Combat Reflexes as the feat. This may change.
